💯Who just nailed her first meal/snack prep in months?! Umm me!!!
🙈I’ve been letting the crazy of the holidays, life, excuses get in the way of my healthy eating and fit goals.. so this week I predict a super busy week, I committed 2 hours to meal prep.
1. Keep my meals simple and repeat. Nothing fancy!
2.Focus on what are my go to portable quick snacks? Apples, pre cut wash veggies, beach bars, & nuts & choc peanut butter oat energy balls!
3. Breakfast: Oats, fruit, nuts and coffee or toast, eggs and sautéed kale
4.Lunch daily: Mocha madness or Peppermint Stick Super foods Shake , hot avocado greens salad (🥰Sooooo good!!) and a sweet potato!
5. Dinner options lentil lime salad (THE bomb.com!) , Tempe (or other protein) mixed winter veggies or homemade squash soup! (Yup stupid simple)
6. Min 60Oz water a day.
7. No added sugars or sweets!(ugh this will be the toughest to follow, good thing I have the 5 second rule!)
😆I know it sound so un fancy but I know for me, I will fell worse free falling and winging it, don’t you? The past weeks has not served me at all!!
😊😊So happy to finally be ahead of the game this week!!🤸🏻♂️🤸🏻♂️

#MediaMonday : we’ve got a feel good read for you from @truthout This morning! ☀️ “If you’re seeking some good news during these troubled times... Small farmers, environmentalists, academic researchers, and food and farming activists have given us agroecology, holistic resource management, permaculture, regenerative agriculture and other methods that can alleviate or perhaps even eliminate the global food system’s worst impacts: biodiversity loss, energy depletion, toxic pollution, food insecurity and massive carbon emissions.” - by Helena Norberg-Hodge, who is the founder and director of Local Futures.
Mostly good natured, occasional grumpus.
Two with Magnolia was rough, thus far Rocky is a piece of cake but I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop. How did two compare between your kiddos (let’s not even get into three, I’m still recovering!)
