I was contacted by Samantha back in the spring when she booked in with me for her newborn session. I was contacted by her about 8 weeks ago to let me know that Camden had made an early appearance at 35 weeks!!! We communicated a ton and decided to let Camden gain his strength and when they were ready, we would do their session! Well at 8 weeks old Camden was ready to see me! I didn't know the details on his story as parents always share once they are in the comfort of my studio. Well when they took him out of the carseat, I saw how big this boy truly was and his full head of black & curly hair!!! At 35 weeks Samantha was having some issues and went in immediately, in the hospital upon doing tests they decided it was in the best interest to get this cutie out immediately even though he was only 35 weeks in gestation. When she had him via c-section, turns out at 35 weeks, he was over 9lbs!!! This boy was ready to greet the world!! Now he has spent far too much time in hospitals over the last 8 weeks but he is home and doing so well!!! He does have a feeding tube for a while but his parents are so amazing and have become professionals at changing it! Everett is the cutest big brother and this session got me in the feels!!!!
Gosh when Lacey took Ivy out of the carseat I must have squealed!! She is so squishy and delicious!!! She was a doll and let me literally pose her in any way!!! Her big brother stole the show with a few sweet kisses and I couldn’t have asked for this session to go any better!!!
Here is little Jackson who came to visit us! What a little darling with only 6 days... I had so much fun with him and his awesome family... 💚
More photos to come! xx

There is nothing like a newborn baby that makes me more acutely aware of the beautiful tragedy of time. It's a healer and stealer. There's never enough, yet it simultaneously passes so slowly. Every day she changes before my eyes and I can hardly stand it, but during those long nights of little sleep I just want to press fast-forward. Here's trying to savor every minute with this sweet babe because I know she won't stay little long enough.
