If there was such thing as soulmates for being busy, Tamar is my busy twin! The only person in the world who understands the joy to always hustle hard & never tells me to slow down because she is just as productively busy!
*Personal rant* Today I stopped and thought to myself... Where am i? Who am i? And am i happy?
I looked back at all the opportunities I have taken, the lives I have personally impacted and changed, the money I have made and the teams I have built.
Today I am so proud of where I stand and who I have become. yes I am happy and there is this endless burning desire inside me that begs for more. Maybe that's what makes me happy?
That "always hungry never satisfied" statement is real as fuck and messes with your head at times.
So today I dont stop, I rest for a moment to appreciate the people and things in my life. Recollect, organize and jet off to the next better version of me.
(ad) Are you one of those "all in" kind of people? The kind that doesn't know how to slow down and sit still? The kind who doesn't have the phrase "take it easy" in their vocab?
Yep. Raises hand. I'm that person.
So...I just turned (gulp) 52. While you can score major brownie points by telling me “Why Jill, I had no idea. You look fabulous!” the truth is, our fifties can (and should) be some of the most robust and active years of our lives. You shouldn't have to tell me I look great at 52. You should expect it. But with being 52 and leading an active lifestyle comes aches and pains. I trust Aleve to get me back out there. I've got too much going on to watch from the sidelines...unless my kids are playing soccer, and then yes.
I hope you check out my latest blog post today...I've got self-care tips for Type-A's and a really fun sweepstakes/rebate offer. The grand prize is $3,500 and entering is super easy. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Sweepstakes ends 10/31/18, 50 US/DC 18+. See Rules: https://neverbackdownrules.pgtb.me/6SMMd8
Let’s talk snows this week...
This is our heart and passion @fourthgenerationoutfitters
We start hunting snows in North Carolina on February 1st, and runs through March 20is...Then we pack our bags and head to New York.
At Fourth Generation Outfitters we hunt Snow geese in North Carolina two different ways. The first way is a field hunt, that starts early mornings by putting out 800-1400 decoys. This is a physical hunt! All hunters are given white suits where we will lay in the middle of the decoys.
The second way is a hunt on the water of the Currituck Sound, out of our scissor rig (boat). Fourth Generation Outfitters takes pride in their heritage. With four generations in their blood, they're continuing the tradition of hunting Snow geese out of their scissor rig.
The scissor rig dates back to the market gunning days. Sink boxes have been outlawed in much of the state, but Currituck County has kept the scissor rig style of hunting alive. Fourth Generation Outfitters has taken this method of hunting and perected it!
If you’re looking to get in on some White Devil action we welcome you😈 If you wonder why we call them “White Devils?” We challenge you to a game of 🐈 & 🐁
Now taking bookings for all our snow goose hunts. (252)-619-2880
