This little house has been far more expensive and required much more work than I anticipated. There are days that I wonder if this single mom has bitten off more than I can chew. Some days I feel so busy that even if there were two of me I wouldn’t get everything done. With how busy everyone is these days it can be hard to be on a routine to work out and eat right. However, it is also important to put YOURSELF first. You can’t drive a car on empty can you?
I am starting a challenge group on June 26 specifically for women who feel that are too busy to incorporate a healthy lifestyle into their every day. Holy much needed rest day, Batman. We all know I never like my rest days. I tolerate them because I know the importance but I’m always “meh” about them, wishing I was superhuman and could get away without them. But today between 10 straight days of workouts and the emotional growth that goes with them...I’m exhausted and ready to recharge. My FB memories reminded me that 9 years ago tomorrow I ran my first official race. Wow. What a long strange trip it’s been so far. Had a good day at work. Shaun T’s podcast really resonated with me on my ride home. My coach sent me the pic of the medal for my big fall goal race. I had a super easy day in the #squatsandabs challenge and I made a ridiculously yummy dinner—zucchini, pasta, and chicken cordon bleu #nom And now I relax with my cat on the couch. I'm so excited that I’m going to be in the TEST GROUP with the trainer himself for Liift4!!! 🤗🤗🤗 The program doesn't officially launch to the public until October, but I'm excited to learn about it early!🦄
The workout plan is only 4-days a week around 30-40 minutes long! Yep that’s right, you can do other things (hike, bike, run) while still doing this workout program.🙌🏻
Nutrition is going to be awesome too! There is a treat day worked into the menu so you’re never restricted.🥙🍩It’s why I really dislike diets (Atkins, south beach, keto and more). They are only temporary because you’re not changing your mindset or behavior on how you view what you eat. I am so glad that I’ve lost 30 pounds just being consistent with eating wholesome foods and exercise.
I did a trial workout tonight of one of the workouts and I must say I LOVED it. I’m feeling strong and motivated!💪🏻🤸🏻♂️
