We are happy to be thanking Lüderitz Town Council for a large donation that will be used to sterilise, vaccinate and give parasite control treatment to the town's less fortunate dogs and cats! From day one the town council has been so supportive of our work in their town; from providing a driver to allowing us use of the town hall, and collaborating with us on dipping days and making educational posters, Luderitz Town Council really steps up to the plate and takes responsibility in keeping its dogs and cats happy and healthy!
The Have-a-Heart family in Luderitz is now nearly 700 animals strong and we wouldn't have been able to achieve this without Luderitz Town Council! THANK YOU!
Remember - IT’S COOL TO BE CLIPPED
Two females trapped in Azaiba and admitted to Sama vets for neutering and ear tipping.
Thank you TBTT for your continued support on all things TNR.
Remember, we all have to get involved if we are to make a difference to the massive over population of street cats. Many kittens are born into harsh circumstances and will suffer from illness and starvation the minute they are born. Let’s stop that in its tracks and TNR, TNR, TNR. If you do just one cat you are making a difference.
TBTT can loan a trap for a refundable deposit, offer a participatory TNR rate for members and a soon to be printed leaflet detailing the trapping process so there is no excuse not to be involved.

I’m little but held my own at the huge Home Depot! 💪 Make no mistake, this is NOT an endorsement: my human sought clarity on replacing her light fixture and was informed (in the most condescending and dismissive way possible) by the misogynist of the year aka their employee “it’s only available online and will run about $60”. we investigated for ourselves and found what we needed, for $18 🙄 I threw a lot of shade on my human’s behalf (shown here). This sh*t is constant and gets old, but at least I could tag along and help be sassy 💃🏻 once we got what we needed I led my human all around before we left, I was fascinated by the garden section! .
I know meow mix is not the best food but it’s better than them starving especially since we #rescued all of them and feed many. Someone us to do it because we all can’t keep turning our backs Thinking it’s someone else’s problem. In reality, it’s all of our problem. If we all chipped in and helped and did our part we will eventually make a difference, but until the time everyone United and chips in, the population of stray cats will continue to remain and grow#spayandneuter#neuter#spay#adoptdontshop#adopt#rescue
Fantastic news!!!! Have-a-Heart Walvis Bay was able to raise enough funds to book the Mobile Animal Clinic - Namibia for two days to come to Walvis Bay's townships and help where help is needed most!!! This is simply great!! Over the year, the Have-a-Heart Walvis Bay team sterilises cats and dogs of the less fortunate pet owners with the help of Southern Cross Veterinary Practice. This regular work is very important and we have a long waiting list, so this will of course still go on, thank you so much to Dr Rensca!
But with the work of the mobile clinic, the team will be able to give Walvis Bay's poorer cat and dog population a big boost towards the control of the stray population and animal health! We hope to be able to get up to 60 animals operated in just two days!! <3
Please join in and help us to make the biggest impact! Everything is organised, funds are our only limit... The more funds we have, the more we can help! We would hate to send animals in urgent need of sterilisation away, only because we have no funds available, during the two extra days but also during the next weeks and months... Every cent of every donation is spent entirely on sterilisation, vaccination and parasite control treatment. Please join us in stopping unwanted breeding in Walvis Bay and Namibia and the ending the dumping of defenseless animals.

Great, great, great news! Recently 19 dogs and cats became members of the Have-a-Heart Keetmanshoop family :-) Keetmanshoop is a big town with many, many dogs and cats in need of help. Have-a-Heart Keetmanshoop and Angie Dunn stepped up and made sure these 19 lucky animals are now lifelong members of our family. And the great news doesn't stop there! Thanks to Animal-Kind International 35 'old customers' were seen for their follow up vaccinations <3
Thanks as always to the Mobile Animal Clinic - Namibia for making this possible

This is one of the main reasons we do what we do. When dogs and cats produce unwanted litters, all too often, this is the fate of the puppies and kittens; dumped like trash. With one pair of cats and their offspring being able to produce 420,000 kittens in just seven years, the impact of sterilisation can be massive.
Every cent of every donation is spent entirely on sterilisation, vaccination and parasite control treatment. Please join us in stopping unwanted breeding in Namibia and ending the dumping of defenceless animals.
Wow! 60 dogs and cats have been sterilised the last two days in Luderitz and are now officially the newest and very welcome members of the Have a Heart Family!
But also 41 very good looking old customers came to the Mobile Animal Clinic - Namibia for their follow up check and parasite treatment. We love seeing our old customers! <3
Thank you so much to everyone who supported and helped!
In Luderitz we also have to mention the Lüderitz Town Council, who from day one was very positive towards the spay and neuter program of Have a Heart. Thank you!

We are so happy to announce that as from today in Bethanie 20 more dogs and cats are member of our ever growing Have a Heart Family!
Bethanie is a little town, far away from any vet clinic, but filled with responsible and caring dog and cat owners! Dr. Baines and his team from Mobile Animal Clinic - Namibia did not only saw our 20 new family members for their "full service", also 52 dogs and cats old members of the Have a Heart family were brought to the team today for their - for humans and animals alike - so important parasite treatment and if necessary booster vaccination. But nothing of this would be possible without lots of support! Thank you so much again to everyone who contributed, donated, sponsored and supported! Only because of YOUR support we are able to help!
And also a big Thank You goes to Dr. Baines for helping the beautiful dogs and cats of Bethanie!

Today we would like to say a massive, from the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU to the just awesome team Village Cafe for their support during the Barking Bike Doggy Dash fundraiser. Not only did the team supply lunches AND cool drinks, they also entered a team and joined the fun! Thank you to all!
For anyone not knowing about the Village Cafe in Swakopmund, they are serving the most awesome food, and to top it all they are dog friendly and even have a doggy menu; we just love them!
WOW!!! What a great event and outcome!
A PAWTASTIC total of N$ 35,165.00 came together for Henties's Township animals!! This means we will be able to help 61 dogs and cats! They will get the full Have a Heart service - sterilisation, treatment against parasites and vaccination.
Thank you so so so much to all cyclists, backup drivers, participants, supporters, the Barking Bike Doggy Dash team for organising and especially the Village Cafe for keeping everyone up and running with the most awesome lunch packs!
Thank you so much to everyone!
Because of YOU 61 less fortunate but precious dogs and cats will have a chance of a long, happy and healthy life <3
We are so happy to announce that in August Have a Heart got 17 new doggy and kitty family members in Swakopmund!
All 17 are now sterilised, vaccinated and treated against internal and external parasites (this is not only important for the animals' health, also for the humans around it, especially the children!) Well done team Swakopmund and thank you to each and everyone selflessly supporting our less fortunate doggies and kittens! <3
And of course a big Thank You goes to Feed a Paw Project, Madelaine Strydom and team for choosing the lucky ones and transporting them to the clinic!!! #spay#neuter#love#dog#cat#bewisesterilise#swakopmund#haveaheart#solution#thankyou
Incoming adoptables!! Meet Duke and Waylon! They were born on the 4th of July (a little more than 11 weeks old), and are lab/shepherd puppies! Their daddy is a nine month old 92 lb shepherd mix so these little boys will grow up to be big boys! They are so extraordinarily sweet, love cuddles and to be held while they lick your face. Let us know if you'd like to meet them!! #adoptable#adoptdontshop#rescue#adoption#family#pets#love#dogs#SCAR#spay#neuter
Side note: mama dog will be spayed on Wednesday to prevent any more unnecessary litters, courtesy of a grant awarded to us by Friends of Community Animal Services for spay/neuter vouchers. To date, we have spayed/neutered almost 19 animals courtesy of their grant.
