Necco e papai. 🐶❤️ #nossoamor#nossopet#maltes#familiamaltessalvador#necco#neccomaltes
What a great twist on our GingerDEAD House prompt by @uberfy! Love how the minimal use of color draws our attention to the focal point.

For the last couple of weeks we have been collecting presents so that we can provide Christmas to our kids in the local foster care system. What a joy it has been to see the gifts pile up because we believe each and every present represents a child that would otherwise not get to experience Christmas!
Join us tomorrow afternoon at 4:00PM in the Providence Sanctuary for our Wrapping Party. If you enjoy wrapping Christmas presents then you don't want to miss this fun afternoon 🎁 🎁
Project Christmas Bash is just around the corner! Shout out to Jana and Jocelynn for bring stockings full of toys and goodies! Be sure to bring your stocking stuffers with you on Sunday to church for foster children in our area! 🙌😄🎄
Classic Necco wafers, but sour! 😝
The New England Confectionary Co., better known as Necco, was essentially founded in 1847 by the Chase brothers - Oliver, Daniel, and Silas near Boston, Massachusetts. Oliver created the first American candy machine - a lozenge-cutting machine! Daniel also created Sweethearts - not to be confused with Sweetarts - which we all know and love as “conversation hearts”! #faxme
After over 170 years, Necco filed for bankruptcy and sold at auction in May to Round Hill Investments for over $17million; Round Hill is also the same company who bought out (and saved!) Twinkies.
Lovers of the classic Necco Wafer had short-lived delight because only two months later, production was halted in July and more than 200 people were left without jobs.
Fortunately, Round Hill Investments has sold Necco Wafers, Sweethearts, and Canada Mints - the classic pink wintergreen mint - to Spangler Candy Co. in Ohio, and Spangler has plans to relaunch the classic Necco wafer by November 2019.
Necco also produces candy buttons, Sky Bar, Mary Jane’s, and Clark Bars - all of which we either carry regularly or can special order in to the store, however the fate of the classic Necco Company remains up in the air, we have faith that they’ll return with these classic confections!
These sour Necco wafers are not listed on the Necco website, which means they could be a limited item so get in to the store to grab yours before they are gone! 🍭 #candyfacts •
