Very vintage Necco glass candy jar in an Art Deco design. It’s full of...you guessed it, Neccos. Since I heard the company was sold, I’ve been hoarding them. You might not be a fan of Neccos, but Necco also made the little candy hearts with messages that we’re all so familiar with. So, cross your fingers that whoever purchased them keeps up the tradition.
Side note: When I lived in Cambridge, MA, I used to take a bus that went right by the Necco factory and seriously, I could smell them!! Heavenly.
Who knew something as innocent as walking my Grampa to his car would create such a moment. The 45 second walk down the driveway, we talked about how he used to babysit me and take me to the corner store to get a SkyBar. To this day, whenever I see one, I have to buy it. •
Could possibly be the last package in the world. I’ve been saving this one. How can they just stop making them? 😳 A favorite childhood candy. Sharing with @randypassey #necco#fridaynightfootball#datenight ❤️
