Story time of how we were kinda sorta almost kidnapped/robbed/killed in the middle of the woods🌲🍂🌿
So @anthony__mango and I went to Joe’s Rock Conservation Area to explore, take pictures, and for him to get a mini photography lesson. After a half an hour of shooting in one spot of the area, we started heading down this new path. Ant kind of nudged me because he realized there was a man 10 yards behind, following us.
Normally I try and give people the benefit of the doubt but my spidey senses were TINGLING with this one.
We immediately veered off the path into the woods, and started to make a big loop to head back to the car. The man stopped when we were out of his line of vision (we could see him from the trees we were hiding behind) and he continued walking.
So obviously we Usain Bolt SPRINTED to the car and skirted tf out of there. The End. 🙃🙌🏼
"Nature knows that people are a tide that swells and in time will ebb, and all their works dissolve... As for us: We must uncenter our minds from ourselves. We must unhumanize our views a little and become confident as the rock and ocean that we are made from." 🌊 #RobinsonJeffers#VitaminSea
Here’s a shot of Littleville Dam’s water supply intake tower, along with an overlook of the lake. This tower was actually never used, but it was built to pump water up to Cobble Mountain Reservoir in case the city of Springfield, MA is ever in need of water. This shot came to life, with the cracks in the ice and the water reflection in the background. I saved my favorite shot of the dam for last, what was your favorite? Please comment below.
