The Sanskrit work Chakra means "wheel" or "disk". These wheels align with the spine; starting from the base of the spine up to the crown of the head. You can picture these wheels as continuously swirling with energy, also known as Prana (vital life force). Each wheel corresponds to nerve centers and organs in the body. When these wheels are blocked, the energy cannot flow which can have physiological, physical and emotional disruptions. Yoga can help regulate the flow of this vital energy!

I'm a bit of a routine freak and I also tend to freak out if I go a few days out of sync!
The last few weeks have been full of seeing different people nearly every day, sleeping in a different bed every few nights and exploring new places. There is a lot to cram in when you come home from living abroad for 2 years, especially when you are only back for a month! I have tried so hard to keep on top of exercise, healthy eating and meditating but late nights and some naughty meals have made that hard. I feel such an obvious change in my body just from a couple of late nights, eating pizza and drinking! And usually I would get bogged down and forget how fun those times are.
So for now I'm working on not beating myself up, enjoying these special times with our friends and family who I wont see for a while, and looking forward to getting my routine back (As of today!) 🍉 Because really, getting annoyed won't help me progress and is a waste of precious energy 🧡 Focusing on the law of attraction now.
