Apart from Peru, I also visited Bolivia while in South America. From city to the countryside, it is a country with so much cultures and breath-taking landscapes, so much so that it transformed my perception of travels. I took so many pictures from the time spent wandering alone on the streets of La Paz but I was sceptical about posting them. I even told fellow Instagrammes that 'I love those pictures but I don't think I am going to post them as I don't think they are Insta-worthy', judging from the poor reception from my street style images outside London. However, I had a rethink recently. While they may not always fit with the aesthetics of this app (think beautiful façade with cascading autumn foliage or vintage car in front of a row of pastel-coloured houses), I feel like I couldn't just let them sit in my camera roll because they represent my love on street style photography and my viewpoint from travel. Sometimes, looking back, I just feel Instagram has changed not only my photography style but also how I travel (constantly chasing for Instagram shots). Don't get me wrong, I adore photographs of beautiful houses and vintage cars but at the same time I feel like I shouldn't also let the app delude my style and lose my voice.
Sunny state of mind 🌼🌞🌼🌞
Hanoi in fall is GORGEOUS! Blue skies and beautiful temperatures 😍 holding on to these last days of sunshine before winter sets in 🍂❄️
What’s your favorite season? Mine is definitely fall in Hanoi ✨✨
Balanced Rock and the Milky Way / We’ve been flying for over 24 hours, and the last time we had service was when I posted yesterday. So jet lagged but one short flight away from our final destination. Jakarta, the hotel bed cannot come soon enough!
The Thean Hou Temple is one of the most beloved and recognized temples in Kuala Lumpur. This temple houses statues inside that are often surrounded by offerings and people kneeling in prayer. Outside, in the garden, you can find statues of the Chinese Zodiacs. Depending on when you’re there, you can expect to see weddings, martial arts classes, and fortune tellers. If you didn’t already think this place was amazing, the architecture was built with Buddhist, Taoism, and Confucianism in mind. It’s a melting pot of unity. For budget travelers, it’s FREE admission. @whiteandblackhat knows you can never have enough good luck #red Show us your adventure @girlsabroad.jpg #thisgirltravelsabroad
Probably everyone who looked for the must visit places in Iceland heard about The Blue Lagoon with turquoise blue thermal water and spa options, that is also full with tourists, social media influencers, with entrance fees, appointments and limited timings. I really think that we found something much better and for free. Warm thermal bath surrounded by calm wilderness, powerful nature and picturesque mountains. 🖤

There's a silent voice in the wilderness that we hear only when no one else is around....
When you go far, far beyond, out across the netherlands of the Known, the din of human static slowly fades away, over and out.. ☝️🌴🌿🌵🌳
Shooting this photo is, without a doubt, one of my favorite moments in life. I was driving a tiny little VW stick-shift hatchback through the snow in Iceland, and all of a sudden, the wind blew all of the snow off the road and it opened up to this stunningly beautiful straightaway with a mountain in the background. I had always dreamt of shooting photos like this one, but never thought I would actually be able to take one. I jumped out of the car to take this ONE photo, and then, as if nature was just waiting on me to shoot that one shot...the ice and snow covered the road once again. There are moments in life you have to jump out of cars. You have to take the leap. You must or it will pass you by. I’ve spent too much of my life not jumping out of the car. What about you?
Bern, Switzerland 🇨🇭
So here it is, the Gerechtigkeitsgasse!😊
One of the most amazing and picturesque, but also bouncing alleys I‘ve ever seen🙌🏼🐻
As I mentioned, this street has a lot to offer, like fountains, flowers, many kinds of flags and the Einsteinhaus🏠
There’s a secret (OK, not secret) dining room at the Lower East Side location of @missionchinesefood. It has a private bar area. You also access it thru this subterranean passageway, which is what I imagine as the maze the Minotaur must have lived in.
It’s not really about the destination. I mean sure, we do have bucket list full of destinations along with experiences. But it’s not the destination that makes us as happy as the journey. .
This is why, we are never in a rush to reach. We do not prefer flights unless absolutely necessary. We drive everywhere. As the cities, towns, villages, highways and trees pass by us, we feel our inhibitions and fear also leave us.
And after a while, it’s just us. Our little world full of love, curiosity and adventure. The world on never ending roads!
Do you prefer flights or road trips?
Nepal—the land of many festivals—offers unique spiritual experience in its every rituals and festivals. Seen here is a local attire in traditional dress witnessing Gaijatra - the festival that commemorates the death of people during the year through caricature and other dramas – at main courtyard of Bhaktapur in Nepal. The religious fervor reaches to full crescendo in front of Nyatpola Temple (at background), an iconic monument of Nepal, along with traditional folk musical instrument being played - Jhyali - made of bronze metal that is played with both hands. Bhaktapur during Gaijatra festival is a must-see for culture cognoscenti as one gets overawed by the incredible energy of human centipede that overwhelmed main courtyard and true to its spirit Bhaktapur remains microcosm of a city. The city is a non-stop, riotous party with every corner taken over by devotees seeking spiritual purification.
