Norton Family trip was a success. Just missing dad. He tragically passed away a little over a year ago in a snow skiing accident. It was the worst moment of my life receiving that phone call; my entire world went into slow motion...it was terrible. Even though that was the worst day of my life we have been able to celebrate my dad this past year by trying to live life to the fullest. My dad served an LDS mission in Peru and growing up we would eat Peruvian food, listen to his stories about playing soccer at Machu Picchu with the locals and I even took Spanish for 4 years to be like him. His dream was to take our family there when everyone was married. Almost a year to the date of his passing we were able to make his dream a reality and take a trip of a lifetime trekking through the Andes mountains. Even though he wasn’t able to be there physically with us I know he was there. I know this sounds cheesy but I really do feel like he was watching over me.
Let your light shine! “Every day you're not dead in the ground, when you wake up in the morning, you're gonna have to make some decisions. Got to ask yourself this question: "Am I gonna believe all them bad things them fools say about me today?" You hear me? "Am I gonna believe all them bad things them fools say about me today? You hear me today?" All right? You’re gonna do something big with your life. You wait and see.” #thehelp#shespeakstruth#makesomethingeveryday
