I am not gonna lie, I used to be all about myself and didn’t really care about other people 😔... but now I know why.....
It’s because I was so unhappy and didn’t even know it.
Since becoming part of this community and opening up to this opportunity and putting trust in my coach @shortgirlfitness my life has changed. She made me realize what being happy really means and how it feels and what it’s like to have a family that will always be there for you.
I wouldn’t be where I am today without Sami and she continues to inspire me every single day. She shows me that I can make my dreams a reality and I’m so glad to have her by my side on this journey 💕💕

Having major FOMO right now! 😭Watching all my coaching friend’s stories and seeing all the pics from the Super Workout this morning in Indy makes me SO sad that I’m not there! Going to Summit is definitely going to be in my budget next year! 💗

Did we get alot of sleep? Nope.
Did we have fun? You better believe it!
It may only be a weekend but trips like these build lifetime friendships.

Got a full 8 hrs sleep last night—unusual for me but wow! Do I feel better for it! 😃💪

Your body responds to the right amt of rest—
We are really fine tuned to that 7-8 hours..you breathe more deeply to inhale more oxygen to move to cells to renew parts of your body, toxins to be eliminated, the brains neurons realigned & more made.
So never underestimate that decent sleep folks! It’s fun & all staying up late but as for
I’ve been doing it way too much for my optimum health so it’s time to be more disciplined!
And while you might feel you’re doing just fine with less (7 or 6.5 which Ive told myself is close enough) you realise that you can feel even better!!
This morning was cold but sunny & so beautiful that I couldn’t resist working out at home instead of the gym! And so I took it outside of course!
45 mins of a few diff routines had me sweaty & puffed but feeling even more amazing than with the longer sleep!
Is that even possible you might ask?

Well, nothing much really & that’s the miracle of it all!

And it’s amazing how quickly this disciplined routine can give you great results!

Stair running (12 stairs x 20 reps)
Stair jumps x 20
Push-ups on stair x 30
Triceps dips x 30
Skipping x 100
8kg dumbbell shoulder press.. x 10 only..it was difficult (but didn’t hurt my shoulder) but
I think I pushed for that too early as I’ve lost some muscle.
Various stretches...as always!
I will do this routine again tomorrow Sunday!

2 years ago, it was just me and the coach who invited me to this amazing opportunity (even after I said no first because I didn’t think I had time haha) Crazy how it has totally changed my life in ways I didn’t even know possible.
Now to THIS. My amazing team. Growing so rapidly and I’m so proud of each of them. I can’t even believe it. 😭💙 More than words can even describe. Love this team. Love the company. Love the people. What I wanted was relief. I was so tired of being overweight and feeling immobile in a body that once moved powerfully and with ease. I was tired of being sad and feeling alone after a marriage and a divorce that stripped me down to the most raw form of broken emotion. I wanted to be a mom that was happy & I wanted to show my boys what it looked like to stand back up. I wanted to feel like I actually belonged to the human race again. So I said yes. I agreed to follow a program completely and to trust a girl who invited me join with others on the same or similar path to a healthier life.
Trust, faith and willingness. They weren’t given easily then & they weren’t in my comfort zone at all at the time, but that is what I KNEW was required to truly experience change, achieve results AND to get past the feelings of worthlessness. It was time... & before I knew it, I said yes to more. I said yes to possibility •
What happened in the next 24 months from the first time I pushed play on my PiYo DVD’s until this picture at the Beachbody Summit 2016 was nothing short of miraculous. I grew muscles you could see visibly, but I grew more that you had to know me to see. Instead of having to be encouraged and assured I could do “this”... I became the encourager. Instead of waking up full of fear of the future every day... I was waking up more mornings feeling BRAVE and with hope. I wanted others to feel it too. Most importantly, for the first time in as long as I could remember... I felt proud of what I was doing, who I was becoming and the direction my life was headed in. I could breath again. Coaching did that. #Beachbody gave me that.
This is a great workout finisher! Do this routine at the end of your workout and go home and help yourself freely to any A+B+C! I did!
Weighted Cone Hops with Jump squats, Knee raises, Burpee, and Push-ups (you can perform just one push-up if you are fatigued or skip the push-up all together and it will still be a great burn)! If you don’t have anyone to throw the ball to you, just take it with you, set it aside for the floor work, and grab it as you hop to the next cone.
I had 13 cones total (if you don’t have cones just use any place markers like sticks or stones) - @danogba knew the exact number to keep it doable but challenging, PARTICULARLY at the end of everything else I’d done!🔥🔥💥. Last August I became a certified instructor to teach MMA (mixed Martial arts) style fitness classes. I was STOKED & so ready to get out there & hold classes--but do you think I have? Nope. Not one. Not yet. ..
I'm still just as excited about it as I was there day I became certified. The difference is, I'm ready to do something with it. It's another way for me to help others & have fun doing it! ..
