Moving out had to be one of the scariest things I have done. I’m such a family and home person and being so close to my family I knew it would be hard. Putting faith and trust in yourself and your relationship is hard. I have to say I have loved every minute of it and it has only made Anthony and I stronger! I’m so grateful for these 2 boys in my life and I couldn’t imagine my life any other way! Love you both endlessly 💕💕🐶
💙 Heart Melt 💙 ...
I just love that these two are best buddies already. So sweet watching them cuddle and communicate at this sweet little age. ...
Kiedis world was pretty much turned upside down when Zarvi first arrived though... who is this baby and is he staying? Ki always talked to Zarv through my belly and learnt there’s a baby coming soon to really cuddle and talk to. But do they really understand at one and a half?
Then he arrived and we couldn’t have been more proud of Kiedis embracing this new little life into the family. The love he gave Zarvi was just beautiful but I must say there was some tantrums of jealousy and pushing his boundaries as a toddler of two now would do, just to get mummy’s attention while feeding...There was some really hard days too! 😬
But I couldn’t be more proud of Kiedis as it’s probably been the hardest couple of months for him ever. Not just learning to share Mummy, but toilet training in between all this chaos has been chaos.. he’s been forwards and backwards a million times and is finally doing n.o 1s and 2s in the toilet and even pulling his pants down and climbing up onto the big seat himself while I’m feeding 👏 proud Mumma much!
Plus during all this he’s moved up into the 2-3s at Daycare and fitting in so well, he can count to 15, say all this abc’s on his own and sing lots of nursery rhymes to Zarvi now! He’s pretty much dressing himself when he wants, which blows me away at just 2 years old? Really talking lots now and stringing sentences together... we knew he would be a little chatter box! Gliding on his glider bike and learning pedals on his big bike... he loves it!
So between all these things his brain has been in absolute overdrive this last four months so I can understand what he’s been going through, especially after the arrival of his little brother 💙
Our first bubba has had to grow up so quickly and we have to slow down and take in consideration as parents of how precious this time really is and that our first bubba is growing up so quickly too! Appreciating every little moment with both my bubba boys, as Kiedis really is still a bubba too 😍🙏 Mummy loves you boys to Infinity!
Work a full time job, spend time with your family, keep up with the housework, pay the bills, spend uninterrupted time with your child [or children], make healthy meals, exercise, spend quality time with your partner, stay in touch with family and friends, post on social media, write in your blog, have a social life, put yourself first and have 'me' time, get to any appointments you have, annnnnd so on.
I don't know if it's always been like this but I do know these are some of the things that many modern mom's have to balance. To be clear, I am not complaining; I'm here to validate you all and say, you're doing enough, and so am I.
Want to know how I manage it all? Here's the secret- it's impossible you give it all 100% of your effort, 100% of the time! I view it as a balancing act but I also remind myself that balancing it doesn't mean that we have to do everything at once. Sometimes it means the housework gets behind or I miss a social event or my son has a sleepover at his grandparents house.
Do what works for you but don't wear yourself out doing it.

Little man I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love you and how much you mean the world to me. Everything I live for and everything I do is about you and your brother. Beyond blessed to say I am your daddy. Even though you’re my little tornado I will always do in this life whatever it takes to make sure you and your brother are loved, protected, and taken care of. #mylife#myboy#myboys#love#swimming#summer#smile#happy
L A D S - and just like that we are back to four and it feels so nice. Vinnie has missed Archie this week, everytime we have left the house he has been to the cupboard to get him a snack for after school and then been upset because we didn’t get him, on the drive down the road to school this avo he knew where we were and he was genuinely shrieking with excitement shouting ‘Aaacheeeeee’ it was so lovely and even tho they often fight like cat and dog when they are together moments like this remind me just how strong their bond is it is so lovely 🙌🏼
