So decided to add a bit of colour to my bedding this time round, and @adairs had a sale so I couldn’t resist a bit of a shop... just a bit is what I told my husband 🙈 the colour is amazing, my room even looks like it’s painted pink and the walls are white😍
Cosy cosy bedroom! Swipe to no3 for the before & how it looked when we first viewed the house! Some people are just basic and I suppose that works for them! I however love being a little bit extra with my bedroom as it’s your own little private area that should be a pleasure to relax in! Still need to hang that bloody mirror & put our chrome door handle on! Working progress though, still work to be done!
If you’ve never scorched your retinas from looking directly in to a way too bright light in order to get an overexposed selfie where you look way better than you ever will in real life, then your selfiegame weak AF bruh. 😌
PS I make tees as clearly shown in this adequately cropped pic.
No editing needed here. Thank goodness for Tom keeping our grapevines in check. •
An addendum to my last post. Those pretty little butterflies you could see are actually Beasts. The meanest little butterflies in the land. They are the Box Tree butterfly and have flown here from Asia in Swarms decimating every Buxes they alight upon. They also breed voraciously. Three times a summer is normal. Whole gardens have been destroyed by them and only spraying judiciously *read weekly* all over Every Single plant can stop them. Needless to say this is an impossibility for many and while in the grand scheme of things it may seem petty, to a gardener it is soul destroying.
Buxes grows wild in France and now all over the country you see swaths of dead Buxes thanks to this little Asian Beast • • •
