Around this time a couple years ago, right when our @nbcthisisus first aired this superstar @sterlingkbrown came over to my studio. @mandymooremm did too, but we never got that pic. What an incredible ride it's been since then. Season 3 begins tonight. Wait till you see where we're going. #ThisIsUs#Music
I'm delighted to announce that Gabbie Bam Bam (of BBQT) will be composing the score for my short film Dream Awake! I really enjoyed collaborating with Gabbie on the music video for her song Golden Twenty so I'm ecstatic to be working with her again on this project. @gabbiebambam @bbqt_iswild @raquel.nave @natasharomanovaofficial @brandoznyc @neffkt @ignatius.rock @kiers74 #shortfilm#panavisionofficial#arri#primolenses#musicscore
I’ve been really enjoying the intro music for The Crown. It’s a great modern theme that’s works perfectly with the show. I thought I’d try some two part melody writing to the intro with a bit of a traditional British colliery band vibe.
Il trailer del primo film di @imols_ , "Palazzina C", per la quale ho composto le musiche. Venerdì 28 Settembre, ore 20:30, anteprima nazionale privata, presso la Sala Fellini di Cinecittà 📽️ #palazzinac
Join us in wishing a Happy Birthday to our great guitarist Mr. RON "BUMBLEFOOT" THAL (Ronald Jay "Ron" Blumenthal born September 25, 1969), is an American guitarist, songwriter, recording artist and producer. He adopted his nickname from the bacterial infection of the same name, which he learned about while helping his wife study for her veterinary exams. The name went from being just the name of an album, to the name of a record label, to a band name, to eventually his name as a solo artist. He was one of two lead guitarists in GUNS N' ROSES from 2006 until 2014 and performed on their sixth studio album Chinese Democracy. Since the early 90s, he has released 10 CDs and a live DVD. His debut album "The Adventures of Bumblefoot" was released in 1995. Thal released "Hermit" in January 1997. Thal is a monster guitarist. His astounding chops, incredible ears, and innovative techniques are the stuff of legend. He demonstrated techniques, illustrated points, and played examples mid-sentence, displaying his command of contrapuntal fingerstyle classical, jazz chord melody, and of course, classic rock. In 2011, Thal formed a band called Art of Anarchy. In August 2017, he joined a progressive metal supergroup named Sons of Apollo with bassist Billy Sheehan, keyboardist Derek Sherinian, vocalist Jeff Scott Soto and drummer Mike Portnoy. Thal is an endorser of Vigier Guitars. The company produces a signature Excalibur model for Thal named "Bfoot" and a custom shaped double neck with a fretless neck on top and a fretted neck on the bottom called the "DoubleBFoot". In this video clip Thal performing an incredible brilliant solo on Sons of Apollo's "COMING HOME" song. Enjoy 🎂🎸

Music as the narrative - The opening music to the original “The Omen” (1976) - Ave Satani- is a beckoning, ritual chant for the arrival of the Anti-Christ himself.
The music, composed by Jerry Goldsmith, serves as an appropriate start to a film where in the opening scene we learn that a child has died at birth and in his place another newly born infant is “offered” as its replacement to the grieving father, unbeknownst to the mother of the stillborn.
In essence, this opening music is exactly what summons the creation of little Damien. As the audience, we listen to the summoning music as the image above slowly fades in - a visual metaphor for the realization of his coming arrival. And as the movie starts, he has arrived. A well thought-out, and rather brilliant execution, using music to be part of the narrative.
Lyrics: (Interpretation in parenthesis)
Sanguis Bibimus (We drink the blood)
Corpus Edimus (We eat the flesh)
Tolle corpus Satani (Raise the body of Satan)
Ave, ave Versus Christus (Hail, Hail Antichrist)
Ave Satani (Hail Satan).
Footnote: Jerry Goldsmith won the Oscar that year for best original Soundtrack.
