The volume continues.
Last night’s workout had me doing chest, back, and arms. The videos are ranked in order of most to least embarrassing to be seen doing. Yes, the first video is me on a LAT PULLDOWN MACHINE. I didn’t know this type of machine existed because I never go to this part of the gym. The second and third are me doing CURLS, and the fourth is me working TRIS, BRO..
“What in the bodybuilding.com are you doing now, Joey?!” you ask, concerned that I’m going full AC Slater on you (the joggers are added for effect). To which stand up, flip my chair around backwards, sit back down and reply, “I’m glad you ask. I’m actually trying to put some muscle on my frame and build work capacity, so that I can level up my overall powerlifting potential and let my joints and tendons not almost quit trying to exist for a few weeks.” Also the veins. The veins from the arm work are kinda cool 💪 (double tap if you get the Slater reference so I know who my fellow 90s kids are✊🤙)
I’d be lying if I said I’m not slightly interested in comparing the before/after once I’ve been through about 6 weeks of this bodybuilding stuff 😁. Ready to see how extra muscle and focus on form translates to the platform.
Trying my best to grow this chest. DB Bench has always been one of my favorite movements for chest. Since you have equal weight in both's hands you can not cheat the rep as if doing a barbell press movement where the stronger arm will dominate the movement causing abnormality in some of the muscles.
Happy flex friday team! 😁Now that the weekend is here dont forget about those goals. In order to achieve optimal physical conditioning diet will be a major factor. With that said you dont want to over indulge on the weekends. Remember just one weekend of eating poorly can derail your from your goals. Its a vicious cycle, you eat good and hit your macros all week then the weekend comes and its a whole other story. For years I use to do this to myself, train hard, did cardio, ate good all week long, then the weekend hit and it would be junk food, no gym, and too many drinks. You want to see results then you need to become consistent. Have a killer weekends peeps 👊✌💪
