In January 2017 @nikerunning asked what do we need to do and who do we need to partner with to provide New Yorkers with a top to bottom 16 week wholistic fall marathon training program? That rabbit hole lead us to last Summers first Project Moonshot - culminating in 80% of our 130+ athletes achieving Personal Bests in their 2017 fall marathons!
Over the past month we selected 200+ athletes from a pool of nearly 1,200 applicants, pushing year two into uncharted territory as we head towards the fall marathons of 2018 - curating a list of the best fitness/wellness partners nyc has to offer while also recruiting a great team of coaches and pacers from across the five boroughs, and Iowa ;) (@justrunjulia) we aim again to push the limits of human performance in the city we love.

Starting on July 1st and running through August 11th, Revolutionary Fitness will be delivering a 6-week Natural Running challenge. Perfect for beginners looking to get into running, seasoned runners who are looking to perfect their technique and reduce injuries, for those looking to bring more strength training into their endurance training or more cardio into their strength training program.
6-weeks of free daily programming including proper running technique, yoga sequences specifically for runners, movement and kettlebell strength training, sprinting, hill running, medium-long distance runs, mobility and foam rolling for recovery, and nutritional guidance. :::
The six-week program will culminate in all participants running a 10K run together on Saturday, August 11th on Governors Island. There will also be additional prizes for those who complete the whole program and participate in the group run.

I need flipgram to not have sold its app bc these vids need chunes.... anyway... I managed to get a woekout in b4 6am ... I felt real mature 😂😂. .
1 mile warm up
10 mins of stretching
3 x 10 weighted full sit ups
3 x 10 weighted squats with side leg lifts (per side)
3 x 10 30lb deadlifts (building weight up slowly)
2min elliptical cool down
Note: these kicks are not good for squats..the flatter the better. These are made to be bouncy & push forward. .
Stronger core. Stronger runner. .
My core is 🚮 right now. Front & back.
Don't diss the caterpillar, then sweat the butterfly. .

First outdoor run since I got back... bruh..82 when I got outside...90 by a half mile in... how?! Ummmmm ... Im not dead... thats all I got right now 😂😂😂.
Congrats to all the Queens 10K finishers, super props to those of you who made it thru that hot ass track shack #marathonfest training run this am, and good luck to those running BQBE later on (read da map 😂😂). .
