No time to workout? Don’t be put out, you can still work it, by doing this circuit:
20 seconds of jumping jacks
20 seconds of high knees
20 seconds holding a plank position
Complete three sets, 1 min rest between sets.
Optional- After completing three sets, end your workout with 20-25 minutes of your favourite cardio activity (e.g. jog, jumping rope, quick pace walk). Enjoy!

THRIVIVOR! This is what I call people who against all odds not only survive through extreme trauma but thrive and pay their good fortune forward. This would be my dear friend D’alton McCarthy❤️ Almost one year ago, Oct 22/17 he had a Massive stroke - was told 1% are privileged to survive. He was brought to his knees and was almost completely paralyzed. Not only did he survive, he was using a walker in no time, then a cane then back training his clients by Dec 4/17 - best birthday present I received! miraculous on all counts and everyone - dr’s therapists nurses were stunned at his recovery. I wasn’t stunned I was proud. Proud that my dear friend had lived a life filled with good food, fitness and lotsa gratitude! D’alt has been a fitness & conditioning coach for over 25 years - the dr’s said the only reason he’s here today is because of his exceptional fitness level & health. Life happens - being prepared for anything coming your way is key as so much is truly out of our control. Control what you can and know you can be a trivivor too! Whenever I don’t feel like working out - I think of my dear friend and get myself out the door. He thanked me for being there for him - I’m the lucky one! He still has challenges with complete recovery but continues to work hard at regaining his full ability & focuses on his blessings. We are now creating healing mind & body workshops together as we have both received a 2nd chance and have been gifted the opportunity to share our journeys to inspire others. 🧘🏼♀️This pic looks like 2 dumbbells and a water bottle but it represents WAY more. Today I went back to @barrecentric and took my first cardio class. Stupid thoughts popped into my head- would I know what to do, what if I’m awful, and shit, do I have a fupa? But I quieted them and gave it my all.
Did I master every move? No. But I went. I worked through silly thoughts and moved my body. It’s SO important to celebrate these health victories- whether big or small.
I encourage you to do something that’s outside of your comfort zone this week. Move past those limiting thoughts and go on with ya bad self.

I'd be lying to you if I said I got this eating thing figured out... BUT I'm working on it every single day!
Recently I've started a workout journal so I can physically see what days I got my body moving and today I'm starting to log my food again.
Now tracking meals isn't for everyone but when I feel myself falling off the wagon I've learned it's best I set new goals for myself.
Having goals for yourself is awesome but if you start living for God imagine how AMAZING that would feel
That being said getting more involved with church and the word has drastically changed my mindset. Knowing the Lord loves every inch of me helps me get up off the couch and move my body for a healthy life.
