Month 4 (Week 18, Day 4) : FriYay again!
#rhymetime - our first visit to #oxtedlibrary , which is bad, as we’ve lived here 2 years now. Library was great, bright, full of lovely books, big, should I say huge bubba section and then on Fridays between 11-11.30am a volunteer (again-great hey) goes through and sings and we all join in on lots and lots of #nurseryrhymes . I must say thanks to my #applemusic and #alexa - I just shout to her “Alexa play nursery rhymes” and the Grand Old Duke starts playing.....really handy when you have these on two floors of the house. Got to catch up with @samanthaprobert88 @louvassallo and Raj. We met Maisie this week, Louises little niece who is 3, as her Mum / Lou’s sis had a bubba boy only a day before, Baby Samuel, so gave her sis some time alone to catch up on some sleep. Great 👍🏼 Sis work Lou! **
Afterwards Sam, Louis, Thea and I went to my all time favourite #brunch place #toastoxted and had my #avomash - insane (!) ....perfectly #poachedeggs on #sourdough with the biggest amount of #avocado with #beetroot#durrkah and #rocketlettuce . We obviously popped in at THE exact right time, as the #incrediblechef decided to send up a new taster dish #koreanchicken - first #chicken dish on the menu, and well, it was absolutely #mouthwatering . Turned up like a starter so Sam and I tucked into our free food, (super lucky 🍀 girls) and needless to say we cannot wait for it to be on the menu, can’t see how it wouldn’t be a fabulous success! **
Great tasting and great prices, Biteapitta is one of our most popular restaurants in Beijing. “The falafel is wholesomely cushy, the hummus is creamy, and the chicken pita sandwiches are warmly filling.”
