Middle of the night from a few weeks ago up on Tom Dick and Harry Mtn. When facing north there is no Milky Way view here. Just above the horizon line on the left you can see Mt. Rainier. The lights on the right are Government camp.

On a serious note, BC has 566 burning fires at this current time. Although it may be part of nature and a key part of the natural ecosystem cycle, it pulls all the heartstrings hearing this. Thinking of the creatures of the forest and the environment impact on many levels.
