In Chengde, a city 200km north of Beijing, it is not difficult to enjoy the many beautiful temples and mountain scenery.
The Putuo Zongcheng temple was modeled like the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet. This temple has it all: great colours, the view, spirituality, history, ... We didn't see any foreign tourists here. The whole city seems to be visited by Chinese people. If you are looking for a place worth visiting out of the normal route, this is the place to be.
"How much time in one day do you actually spend with the outside world, with humans, animals, plants and objects? A few hours maybe. And how much of your time is spent with just yourself? Day and night, your whole existence. This shows that your inner life is more important than anything else. You must therefore see to it that order, beauty, abundance and riches reign within you.
But what is seen on the outside? Most humans spend their time organising the outside world and filling it with objects of all kinds: products, devices, structures and weapons. It’s impressive. And all the while, they let disorder, weakness, poverty and emptiness reign on the inside. It is time they began to build on the inside all they are busy building on the outside. It is all very well to live in a large, impressive and comfortable house, but what difference does it make if they flee their inner dwelling, as do so many people? "

When you go into the mountains, all you see are the forests, springs, lakes and peaks. But in the mountains there are also caves, underground rivers and deep caverns. Think of these sometimes, as well as of the beings that live in them, so that you can be their friend.
Mountains are not simply masses of earth and rocks; they are containers for enormous treasures: crystals, stones and precious metals, which powerful entities watch over and work with. I am not saying this in order for you to go venturing into caves, armed with picks and pickaxes, to dig tunnels in the hope of finding seams of gold and silver. No, pay attention to the symbolic, living aspect of mountains, whether you climb them or else dig deep in yourself to find spiritual treasure. »

Mountain energy is f’real. 3625 ft of cosmic realness in Vermont, the Green Mountain State. We have travelled to many places over the last decade from the Rocky Mountains in Alberta and BC, to the stunning red rocks of Arizona, the mountains on the West Coast in California, to the East Coast mountains of Cape Breton; in Europe we have seen the French and Swiss Alps, and through Greece we have seen the world. Each mountain carries its own energy, its own story. Just like us. Spend time with these mountains, they’re not so different from you or me. #mtmansfield#vermont#mountain#mountainenergy#mountaintherapy#gratitude#nature#travel#lessonsinlife#love#namaste 🙏🏼⛰❤️☺️
At the top of the Troodos Mountains in Cyprus, you're looking at an altitude of about 2000 feet. You're also looking at a scenic time out from Alex after I've spent several KM in fear we are going to crash and roll 2000 feet to our demise. #mountainenergy ⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️
