There's always a truer version of yourself to tap into.
Not a "Next Level You" that you have to go out there and get externally.
But rather a truth about who YOU are that you've covered up that you have to uncover to get one step closer to that which you desire.

💡🔌Sometimes we need the alone time to recharge and really get our thoughts together. If you find yourself constantly overwhelmed, and find it difficult to focus, try being alone. Give time away from people and technology to gather yourself. Distractions can drain us of motivation.
You'll always be addicted to SOMETHING.
This was me addicted to numbing out vs. me being addicted to creating.
Making a DECISION to pivot and be loyal to my inner creative energy instead being loyal to numbing out.
Part of growth is being able to admit when you're wrong and pivot without question or emotion.
It's not always the easiest to do, but it's well worth it.
Are there areas of YOUR life you've been holding on to because they're FAMILIAR that you know you need to let go of...but the raising of your standards to get there would require you to step into a version of yourself that seems foreign to you now?
Here's the real question:
Would that version of you seem foreign to the IDEAL version of you?
Or is the truth...if you REALLY looked at it...is that they're one and the same?
The ideal version of you would know that sure, maybe it'll hurt a bit letting go of that toxic friendship or that vice or that negative thought train that we're "Used To". But that ideal version of yourself would let out a slight sigh, pull their shoulders back and move forward, realizing that you have goals to achieve and standards to raise if you're serious about getting there.
I suggest taking a deep DEEP look at this before 2019 starts.
You might just find that the New Years goals you had were coming from a version of you that didn't even match the standards the IDEAL version of yourself would set if you were to step into them FULLY right now.
And what a waste of a year it would be if you came to the end and realized you'd been operating from a lesser version of yourself, a version you just didn't want to let go of to reach for greatness.
You're worth it my friend.
Make the reach, however uncomfortable it might be... ...however many toxic people you need to cut off... ...however many vices you need to let go of... ...and however much it'll pain you to realize that you might have been doing things wrong for a long LONG time.
Make the reach.
