I used to live in the YOLO mindset, eating & drinking whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. Sure, that worked for a while... but little by little my jean size increased, I became sluggish, and I became depressed. Living that YOLO mindset in terms of eating junk 24/7 really did take a toll, and turned my daily life into a struggle.
Sure, it can get hard to consistently eat healthy and get in a workout. But for me - it was MORE difficult being unhealthy. So what’s your health worth to you? Are you ready to start taking care of yourself so that you can live your best life?

Wake up and sweat!! Sometimes I wake up and I immediately have no patience with P-and I HATE that! I find if I get outside and sweat it out and do a workout, I feel SO much better! I’m happier, more patient, relaxed and a much better mumma for the rest of the day! It’s like a reset button. Get the endorphins flowing! Exercise is my therapy!
It’s stormy here in NYC and I’m all about this life. 🌧 Anyone else love the earthy smell of rain or find the sound of it soothing as you go to sleep? Rain drops are my favorite lullaby. 💦 Today, I’ve heard so many people say they hate it when it rains, which I find sad. There really is no natural resource that is more important to us than water. It plays a vital role in almost every bodily function from removing toxins to regulating the body’s temperature. Just think about how you feel whenever you are thirsty or dehydrated. Would you be mad at the rain then if there was no other water in sight? Would it still be inconvenient? Put on some cute boots, put your hair up and let the the earth show you love with its rain kisses.💧Also, collect some, because, people, you don’t want to even get me started on the harmful substances lurking in our everyday drinking supply. #rainandchill
Workout #2 ! Yesterday we worked chest & triceps and today was back & biceps, so by the end my arms were S•H•A•K•I•N•G. .
I’m feeling really good about this one guys 🤩 I haven’t felt this sore in a WHILE - and it’s one of my favorite feelings. It reminds me that my body is CHANGING. Don’t forget that. 🙌🙌
This is a 4-day a week program so I will be weight lifting accompanied by HIIT and core on M/T & TH/F. And then I’ll have ACTIVE rest days on the remaining 3 days. Today my nutrition has been ON POINT...but the real test will be tomorrow at work with controlling my snacking 👌 Will report back, but I’m feeling confident! .
Preparation is key 🔑 And the most important part! .
you know those ladies who ALWAYS look perfect at the gym... makeup done to perfection, their cute ponytails swinging behind them not a hair out of place, as they jog like gazelles on the treadmill or gracefully move on the elliptical. Their face calm and perfect. Their outfit perfectly coordinated with matching shoes (and lipstick). They move with grace and perfection at the front of the class and even their sweat has a perfect glow...
Well I am NOT one of those ladies 🤷🏻♀️ I have life long friends that are these ladies and I love them full heartedly... but I refuse to workout next to them 😂🤣
...in contrast my hair is usually sticking to my face and I pretty much looking like I just went through a tornado. My face is usually blotchy and perfectly imperfect as I try not to hate the trainer!
I feel ridiculously awkward on an elliptical or any others gym equipment and any makeup on my face is probably the mascara that, in my exhaustion, I didn't bother to wash off the night before #momlife 🤷🏻♀️
I also DO NOT glow I sweat... and it's usually dripping before the end of round 1! A fact promptly pointed out by Parker 🤣
I don't own perfectly coordinated workout outfits... my workout gear is crammed into the 2 bottom drawers of my dresser and sometimes I end up with the same top in the same week (gasp)! I also hate the smell of lipstick lol. .
Why am I sharing? Because I am a proud PERFECT hot mess at the end of my workouts and I'm ok with that because I feel accomplished, strong and awesome! 😉💪🏼
Do I wish I was like those put together friends of mine? Sure! But that's not me!! I still post sweaty selfies and video clips in my IG stories.... I hope my role as an imPERFECT mumma and coach helps to motivate and encourage other ladies to join me and also embrace how perfectly imperfect we all are. .
What does your morning look like? There’s something so comforting about morning rituals, whether it’s going for that daily morning run, brewing your favourite cup of coffee first thing, doing yoga or meditating.
Our favourite way to get the day going is by getting our workouts done before sunrise. Maybe you prefer exercising at lunchtime or the evenings when it’s cooler. Find what you love, what works for you and do it often.

530a workouts are not always the easiest thing to commit to (and actually apply action behind the commitment 😂)! I even have my own struggles and battles weekly!! Guilty!!😝But there is no better feeling after it’s all said and done—and ur workout is accomplished! ✅
Today this group of awesome people inspired me! (A few got away before the pic was taken ) And I love them more for it!! They came! They saw! They conquered! They gave everything they had and the ENERGY was everything needed to have by far a wonderful day! They set the tone and it helped me carry out a positive day! 💪🏼

Give this s try if you’re looking for a fresh new workout:
5 x 3min (1min rest between each effort)
5 x 2min (1min rest between each effort)
5 x 1min (1min rest between each effort)
NB: if you’re a beginner start at the 5 x 2min intervals then the 5x 1min. When you’re feeling more comfortable throw in the 5x 3min.
I love doing a workout like this at least 1x/wk and do it on a fasted stomach aside from a good dose of filtered water, done apple cider vinegar and an espresso shot.
You can do it on a treadmill or any cardio machine that you like, though, I love being outside and being able to jump in the ocean after doing some breath work.

So here’s the truth about abs...i absolute hate training them. I used to always save them for the end of my workout, but then ended up skipping them because I felt too tired 👵🏼 but let’s face it, everyone wants a nice stomach. So 2 weeks ago, I decided i was going to start waking up earlier to fit 20 minutes of ab work in after fasted cardio. And now it’s a habit 🙏🏼 So I wanted to share snidbits of some of my favorite ab exercises thus far. Definitely give them a try 💪🏼
My message to you: never use “I don’t have time” as an excuse. Life is all about priorities and whether you truly want something or not. If it means you have to wake up earlier to get it done, then do it. If it means you do some jumping jacks or ab workouts during commercial breaks while you’re watching tv, then you damn sure do it.
Everyone has the same amount of time in a day; it’s up to you how you spend the hours 💪🏼
