Yes yes it's another Thursday touring Twitter City!
We sat down to lunch today with this gentleman and we did have some great conversations! 😉 😊
One of the things Martins said that struck us was:
One of the things destroying our systems is 'Moral flexibility' aka double standards.
Being good/nice when it suits you.
Being good/nice to who it suites you.
The question is, is it possible to treat everyone the same way and be nice to them?
Knowing how dynamic people can be sometimes, can one always be nice or act and treat all people the same without having double standards?
Is having moral flexibility a good or a bad thing?
Kindly share your thoughts in the comments section below. 👇👇 😊
My Throwback Thursday of my self and my sister @afroimpressions when I was 18 and my sis was 8! I actually thought I was sexy looking like any twig, not even a branch!!! My grandparents who raised me there! Looking at them you can see how I was raised and why my heart is pure! Love them and miss them both! #oldskoolvalues#morals
I’m tired of adults trying to ignore bad behavior and arguing that teenage hormones are to blame for their actions, bullshit! Adults are to blame for this false narrative of teen hormonal behavior as the reason they make bad decisions. At a very early age adults teach their children what yes and no means. They teach them the consequences for making various choices. They don’t teach them that you can get away with bad decisions based on your hormones as a teen. It’s an excuse that adults have created to explain teen bad behavior. If a teen smokes pot do you excuse that as it’s just their hormones? If a teen drives while drunk, do you excuse that as hormonal behavior? If a teen assaults another teen is that just their hormones? If your answer to any of this is no, then why is it ok for a teen boy to sexually assault a teen girl? Makes no sense. Teens go through hormonal changes, fact. Adult parents need to do their fucking job and teach teens right from wrong period. Stop using the science of teen hormonal changes to justify bad fucking behavior amongst teens.
