Amsterdamse Bos (English: Amsterdam Forest ) is an English landscape park mainly built in the early 1930s. Because of World War II interrupting the building process, the last trees were not planted until the 1970s. Annually, almost 4.5 million people visit the park, which has a size of 1,000 hectares (2,500 acres) and is approximately three times the size of Central Park in New York City. In it, one can find animal parks, several sporting clubs, a rowing course (here in photo), gardens and remembrance monuments. It is also an ideal setting for numerous festivals in the summer. #nofilter#amsterdam#techno#festivals#sunsets#monuments#forests#cityscapes

Memories from Macedonia 🇲🇰
After some warm sweaty days in Athens, we decided to move further up. As we planned everything on the go, the next stop stood between Bulgaria or Macedonia. In our totally spontaneously randomness we jumped on the train to the Macedonian capital, Skopje (and barely made it in time). We didn't knew anything about the country, and never heard of anyone that had been there.
As soon as we crossed the border it stood clear, that we were indeed in Eastern Europe. Namely because of the very old, very slow trains and the villages we passed.
Skopje was probably our best experience on the trip. The credit goes to our hostel and it's owner, who functioned as our host and welcomed us with a personal fire show! 🔥 The guy was an actor who did material arts and breathed fire in his spare time. Designated bad-ass.
We went kayaking at the Matka Lake, strolled around the city's attractions and drank with the locals. Skopje has a very special vibe to it. The centrum has a kinda North Korean atmosphere to it with huge monuments and statues to overshadow the poorer outskirts of the city, where you'll find wild dogs and babushkas playing domino 👵🎲
In the pictures you'll see our attempts to blend in with the many statues 😉
