So me being the perfectionist that I am, I have been sitting here for the past half hour trying to find the PERFECT photo to post on Instagram. Ridiculous since perfection is an illusion that doesn't exist but I can't help myself! Can anyone else relate or am I being crazy? Lol. Probably the later but back to what you care about... the picture! Believe it or not, this vineyard is right in the middle of Paris, in the exquisite neighborhood of Montmartre. I love getting lost amidst the old world charm of these quaint cobbled streets. And while this vineyard is typically closed to the public, you can get a great view from behind the Muse Montmartre. Also just a lovely museum if you enjoy art even a little bit. And in true #girlwiththepassport style, I almost did a header into the fence as I strained to take this shot. Lol. But I promise, no grape vines were hurt in the taking of this photo.
I stepped out of a futuristic, high-speed train and back in time last night as I walked out the doors of Gare du Nord during golden hour.
That will do something to you.
Every movie you’ve seen and any book you’ve ever read, your imagination has never known the beauty of Paris until you’re standing amongst the iconic, late-1800’s, Haussmann-style architecture that lines nearly every rue et avenue en Paris.
Take a look around my neighborhood these last two days. Pigalle et Montmartre es trés, trés jolie. 😍🇫🇷🙌🏻
Very hard to capture just the best clip of this open mic jam session that evolved at some little club I would probably not be able to find again in Paris near Montmartre. The guitar player also sang great and he was singing in English, but I couldn't ever get the right video clip. #parisfrance#openjam#raphiphopopera#montmartreparis
