Trying to pay bills for my fiancée who was diagnosed a few months ago. Mind you he's only 25. Thank.you everyone who shared or donated. #ms#donate#montana#multiplesclerosis
Thank yourself. Thank your body for all it has done for you and continues to do without question. Thank your body for what you endure and push your body to do. Thank your body as it is your best friend and listens to you and trusts you no matter what you say or do to it.
Nourish your body with love and with care instead of with hate and punishment. Too often I am caught up in what I “need” to fix about myself but forget how much I admire about myself. Not even just my body but what I myself have endured and came out through relatively unscathed in the very little time I have been on this earth. Think of all the things you and your body have been through.
Thank your body for fighting the illnesses, the wounds, the injuries. The broken hearts, the lonely nights, the excitement, the happiness, thank it for all that you feel.
We are pretty extraordinary. We can be whoever we want to be, look however we want to look. We can go through unimaginable pain - mentally and physically and come out okay.
Be compassionate with yourself. Be patient with yourself and most importantly be honest with yourself. We are not meant to be at war with our bodies. This is a war that’s raged on my entire life! It is a feeling of inadequacy and insecurity that I may never be enough. Don’t aspire to be something else, aspire to be a better version of you. The happier and healthier you.
Let that war inside of you go. Listen to what you really need and enjoy life with the body that allows you to experience the most beautiful and the most difficult experiences life offers.
Siyeh Surprise - Once you reach the saddle between Pollock and Piegan the view of Mount Siyeh and Allen Mountain is a pleasant surprise. The moderate bit of effort spent ascending out of the Lunch Creek drainage is certainly rewarded with this unforgettable view. By the way, the view gets better the higher you climb! Have you ever been here and seen this view?
Confession. It’s been an extremely long time since I enjoyed editing. Last night I spent five hours working through pictures from my trip to Glacier and I have fallen in love all over again. Being stuck in a rut is never fun and you never know how to get out but there is nothing better than getting out of it.
Montana Trip Day Four: completely forgot to mention in earlier posts that the reason for this trip is to celebrate these two phenomenal dudes, who turned 40 this past June five days apart. Sigi and I successfully kept this trip a secret for months. They knew they were going somewhere but none of the details. Today’s hike took us around the Lodge and Ulery Lake trails. #moonlightbasin#bigsky#montana#travelbuddies#birthdaybuddies#fortyisfabulous#loveourboys
