🐒🐒 MONKEY MONDAY 🐒🐒 How's your upper body strength? Mine's absolutely terrible and sure my arms and back might look nice and toned but what's the point if they can't even do one poxy press up!
And then there's rope climbing... I've never been able to master it, not even in my gym knicker (did anyone else have to wear these hideous nylon nappies for gym?) wearing days back in PE at school. I mean it might look like I'm doing OK in the pic when I attempted it at @queenelizabethcountrypark over the weekend but don't be fooled... I was coming down 🤣
I recently got my results back from the @vitlhealth DNA health and nutrition testing kit and lo and behold turns out I'm not so good at building muscle. As predicted my body's better equipped for fat storage - bloody brilliant, that's exactly the kind of #motivation a girl needs to hear! However, it ain't all bad 'cos strength training, like press ups and rope climbs and basically anything that uses a bit of weight, be it body or otherwise, will help speed up my metabolism - which as it turns out I also appear to have the slow variant gene of.
The results were proper fascinating and I was amazed at the extent of information it included and the actionable advice that it gave - incredible value for money really and absolutely staggering that all of that can be worked out from a bit of spit on a stick!

Tried rope climbing for the first time and thought hey i can do pull ups so this should be easy.....NOT! 😂 Glad I did and I'm addicted. It's hard at first but practice makes perfect 👌 Excited to try it again and hopefully on a longer rope, no leg and a few reps (ambisyosa detected😂). #itsnotaseasyasitlooks
