To my female friends who have made the trip around the sun a "few" times ☀️most of us are going through the next stage of our lives. We are at that age where we see wrinkles, gray hair, extra pounds. Menopause has showed up or is waiting around the corner. We see pretty 25-year olds and smile. We were 25 too, just like they will one day be our age. What they bring to the table with their youth and zest, we bring with our wisdom, experience and good hearts.
For all we've been through earning each gray hair - jobs, raising kids, life's bills and ills, or whatever else life brought over the 70's, 80's, 90's on up, we are survivors. We are warriors. We are Women. Like classic cars or fine wine, our exterior may not be what it once was. It is traded for spirit, courage and strength while we enter this chapter of our lives with grace and pride for all we've been through and accomplished. NEVER feel bad about aging. It is a privilege denied to many.

Hi. I’m Andrea. 👋🏻 Here are some facts about me:
1️⃣ I’m one of 5 kids. Ashley and Amanda are my 2 sisters and started BBG and this account with me back in 2016. Ash is still killin it in the gym, and Amanda is basically not doing anything but looks awesome.
2️⃣ I have identical twin boys turning 4 next week. 😭😭😭 Ashley has identical twin boys who just turned 5 this week and an 8-yr old son. Amanda has a 1-yr old daughter.
3️⃣ I work 45+ hrs/ week in an advertising & marketing role for a trucking company. Amanda works at the same company. I freaking love my job. I typically travel for work 1-3 times per month. I ❤️ BBG because I can get it done anywhere.
4️⃣ I binge ate and drank a lot in college. At my heaviest, I was 149. I’m currently 134.1 today and feel like a different person than who I was during college. I worked out maybe a dozen times in those 4 years.
5️⃣ My husband and I have been married 6 years. Next week is our 7 year anniversary. He was my first and last boyfriend! 💖 He’s pretty dang fit and motivates me to step up my game.

Let me be honest for a minute. I’m obsessed with sweets. Brownies, chocolate, s’mores. I have a hard time following a “meal plan”. I do it for a limited time but then I feel like I need to binge to eat what i love.
This new “plan” isn’t a plan at all. Let me be clear, it’s a new way of thinking. It’s a guideline to what healthy eating looks like. It doesn’t say anything is off limits, instead it calls them “silly” not bad or wrong.
I’m using the sayings and the guide but I’m also eating my treats without feeling like I’m cheating.
The scale and my body agrees that we are finally doing something right! I’m looking to help 5 people get started this month. We can conquer our lifestyle together. ❤️ Who is with me? #2bmindset
I went back to the gym last week starting my new program. I went 4 times 530am. My eating was back where I like it. I gained two pounds! TWO POUNDS! Today I was watching my daughter sing and perform and It brought me back to my childhood. My Nonny used to watch me for hours performing. She never missed a made up song, voice recital, play, or pageant. She watched with intent and never showed signs of boredom. It got me thinking about her as a woman. She was inspirational. A woman born in a time that didn’t support women’s equality. A time when her college education and career was uncommon. She beat the odds. She retired and volunteered. She was a leader. We have a lot in common, see although it sounds like she was FEARLESS I know that like me she was filled with fear. But she did it all anyway. I know she would be so proud of me as a mom. ❤️❤️ I pray I end up half the woman she was. 🙏🏻
