After a few YouTube clips, messages to my Italian bestie back home and 30mins of confusion thinking that someone was trying to offer me a Mocha instead of a Moka, I worked out how to use this bad boy.
Introducing my new best friend ☕️
I always loved tea but my relationship with coffee went through significant changes during the past. I came from the time when cheap "standard" black coffee was considered a luxury suitable for an unusual visitor, and for many years I took coffee as a necessary evil to get me through the hard times - good thing but not something I would truly enjoy.
then few years ago on a postapocalyptic event I randomly borrowed a moka pot and a tiny eastern hand grinder, and I totally loved this process. I bought the same secondhand vintage albanian hand grinder from 60s instantly. the wonderful smell of freshly prepared coffee really improves your morning and the moka pot makes it smooth and lovely, though not expensive.
I found out then there's a variety of great coffee beans available, sometimes on sale if you're lucky. so I bought a huge bag of nice arabica blend when I was lucky. and today I added a bit of nuts aromatic beans to it yet, it goes wonderfully together. nice mornings? yes, I'm all in.
