you totally can! 💪
this is the result of the polls I put up today on my instagram stories (very much inspired by all the 'instagram decides my day, artwork, diy challenges' going on)
thanks to everyone who voted! It was a lot of fun. Really surprised that most of you chose brushpens over brushes. 😂♥
Kerala just braved the worst floods in 100 years.
It's been a hard few days for all my brothers and sisters back home.
So many lost their lives, their homes, their whole livelihood. They've witnessed the worst days. Millions displaced, hundreds dead. Some watched in horror as their houses fell to the ground. Some watched as their families were devoured by rubble and water and mud.
This shouldn't have happened to anyone. But it did.
My heart is heavy but I look forward to the future with hope.
Even in this chaos, I believe God is still working.
Though the waters have destroyed everything on its way, Jesus has been in the business of resurrecting everything on His way.
This I know, that my God is in control. Even in this mess, He is holding it all in His hands. The pain may linger but His peace will prevail. I believe one day we will look back and see how far we have come. Through the waters. Through the storm.
This I believe and declare;
Though we have fallen, we will rise. Stronger. Bolder. Braver. More beautiful than ever. We are called God's own country. That's the title we will keep.

Jars of clay are worked by the hands of a potter and refined by fire to be purposeful and beautiful... and yet, despite the labour and craft that goes into making one, they are super delicate. They can crack and break into a million pieces. We are like jars of clay. We’re weak and by our own efforts can not withstand very much. But through our weakness, Christ can shine all the more. We’re given this great treasure to show that it’s from God and not from us; no one would ever believe otherwise! Alex and I chose this as our marriage verse to remind ourselves that we are just jars of clay... our life purpose is not to draw attention to ourselves but to make Jesus shine brighter... ✨✨
My new watercolor I’ve been using 🤗 I’m not really into paint, but I’ve been wanting to try it for a while, so I got some ArtistLoft watercolor tubes from @michaelsstores for a great price! I just squeezed some in these cute little jewelry jars and mixed it with water and voilá! Easy DIY 😉 What’s your favorite watercolor paints??
