So I was watching some YouTube videos on modeling the other day and I ran into a super interesting assimilation that I haven’t really heard before but it totally makes sense. Two different videos from two different fashion/lifestyle models said the same thing: “commercial models are like fashion models except they cater to the middle class.” I was like 😱 I wonder if they are talking about models who reach levels like @carolinelowe . She’s a commercial/lifestyle model. But if you see her feed and her height, you totally get the fashion model vibe, right? Personally, if I could get to the elite level of Caroline, I would totally feel involved in the fashion industry and it would definitely feel like an enormous achievement. Cause even modeling for “middle class fashion” is not that easy for us. Usually models are between 5’6” - 5’8” from what I’ve seen. And agencies who have these types of clients usually have a height requirement too. So when I see a shorter petite model doing work for brands I shop for, I get extra excited! They are still involved in the fashion industry, except not the high fashion side. What do you guys think?! Has anybody heard an assimilation like this before? ——————————————————- shot @hadophoto HMUA @alexhushcha stylist @eliza007designs
