Hello folks! Some of you may be wondering why I have started a fitstagram! Truth is, this past year has been truly life changing. I fell in love with the outdoors in a way I never have before. However, along with this revelation came another: I’m really unhealthy, and have become progressively worse, especially this year. By the end of attending a one year bible college (@mdub_life, highly recommend!!!) I had gained 27 pounds, was in constant GI discomfort, always fatigued, and experiencing minor gallbladder failure. I began to realize that these health issues were affecting my ability to learn, do the things I love, and serve God in the way I desire. I was physically just too worn out. At 250, I realized it was time to take extreme measure. I am very grateful that God has provided a functional medicine doctor in my home town to help get to the root of my health issues. So far I have lost 21 pounds, and I am beginning to get my energy back (slowly but surely!). It’s been really challenging (like crying my eyes out challenging). But by God’s grace and the support of others, I do believe this is going to be a turning point! So, the purpose of this fitstagram is to share progress, recipes, encouragement, and inspiration for others who may also be struggling with health. And, if I’m honest, it just makes this whole journey a little bit more fun!!! So if that interests you, follow me @becoming.healthymt :) #health#fitness#inspiration#moabutah#moab#hike#outdoors#weightlossjourney#progress#fitstagram#daybyday#hisgracealone#allglorybetochrist#christalone
As someone native to LA and who lives in the city, I feel like there are many moments that I tend to forget. Days blur sometimes, I forget what I did last week... but when I travel, that’s when I really get to step out of that routine. And I gain experiences that I feel will stay with me forever. Stories that never get old—that’s what I live for. I’m glad to share some of the stories with @teenie29 .

The first time I went to Arches National Park was only 4 years ago even though I’ve lived in Utah my whole life 🙈. It makes me realize I need to get out and explore my own home state more!
Now I’ve been to Arches✌🏼times and love it! It’s so beautiful 😍
The best thing about going somewhere more than once is, the first time you take it all in and the second time you narrow down and do what you really want to do.
But really there is nothing better than seeing a new place through fresh eyes.
What’s your favorite place to visit time and time again?
At The Arches National Park this morning. OMG what amazing formations! Brilliant terra cotta - so rich it’s almost purple. Our sky of scattered clouds only enhanced the views. Every turn revealed another impossible hoodoo stack. Dinosaur tracks, trees growing out of rock, and lizards scuttling away from our lugged footsteps. Amazing! #thearchesnationalpark#moabutah#thegreatestearthonshow#ilovetravel
