S U N D A Y
Saying goodbye to summer!
We packed a lunch and went on an adventure. This hike took us to an amazing waterfall. We all played in the water and the bravest ones even jumped in!
It's so nice when you find a hidden gem. ✨
Kylie's Sunday Evening Thoughts...
❤Take time to let nature creativily begin to build a fire in you.
❤Let there be space to be awestruck with the worlds wonders.
❤See if you can replicate the beauty from the outside within you.
❤Take a moment to just breathe in some fresh air and feel the winds breeze on your face.
Simplify, reconnect, reset, do these things for yourself. Too often we get caught up in the hustle and bustle. Things pass by far too fast if you let it.
Be INSPIRED, be more than OKAY because YOU deserve it❤
Kate here. In my quiet time this morning, my mind asked my heart, “What does our backbone look like?” My heart replied, “A wind whipped, sandblasted, bent but not broken part of our beautiful existence that we didn’t know was there until you, stubborn mind, found the coordinates to it.” Maybe that’s my ego talking, craving praise for being a badass. But nah. I think it’s just my truth leaking out. 🖤 Lots and lots of people flock to the arches in Utah. They stand and snap pictures, amazed and in awe. The visitor’s center details how, over time, each strong and delicate arch has been formed by extreme conditions. We imagine big storms, wind tunnels and blazing heat. Obvious, uncomfortable forces of nature. Then we stand at the base of such beauty, in 74 degrees with a cool breeze on our faces - a perfect day - and capture but one second of one moment on our cameras...totally unaware that it is changing before us. Quietly, patiently, right there in front of us. Without us. Isn’t that wild?
Hidden Southwest: Moab .
Photography Workshop: October 25-28th
Moab is the epicenter of the southwest outdoor world. We’ll stay in the beautiful small town boasting a variety of great restaurants, but it’s the landscape around it that makes Moab the place to be. With canyon lands and Arches National park virtually surrounding the town, we’ll spend the days out immersed in nature, photographing the incredible landscapes, playing with form, light and texture. We’ll go into Arches National park and play with the landscape juxtaposed against the southern skies. .
One final attraction is the myriad of rock panels of First Nation’s art. Pictographs and petroglyphs abound on the walls adjoining the river. An added bonus is the array of stars that come out at night! It’s an incredible sight to be seen all around - you don’t want to miss it.
Join us this October and learn, explore and experience this amazing landscape. .
