Our 2nd time on #7MileRim trail in #Moab for #RockTherapy 2018. Granted I’ve only been on a few of what Moab has to offer, but this trail is visually stunning, offers several different types of terrain, and has some fun & technical parts to help me challenge myself and keep growing since I’m still new.
A big thank you to @nyco_rh @nyco_kk @jonburtt @dylanbrokeit for leading the first half, looking out for everyone’s safety, finding my dog, and treating us noobs like long-time friends.
And thanks to @wanderquinns & @michellie2 for trusting that we’d make it out in one piece as Gina and I led the final half. Gina’s #navigation skills were on point, and we experienced a new level of communication that day.
The only thing that was missing was more time.
"The Arches National Park is located north of Moab in the state of Utah. The park, bounded on the southeast by the Colorado River, is known for its over 2,000 natural sandstone arches, such as the towering red Delicate Arch in the east. The long, thin landscape arch at Devils Garden is in the north. Another special geological formation is the Balanced Rock, which rises in the middle of the park above the desert landscape in the sky." “

We went on a lot of adventures this past year, but this was my favorite one. Happy birthday @lizjoylewis - I love you and your heart for a life lived fully and beautifully more than I can express! You are a deep well of wisdom, patience, and kindness. I’m extremely grateful for our friendship. ✨👸🏻✨ #bestfriendgoals#moab
We came so close to Moab on our drive from SLC to CO that we figured, why not stop? Glad we did.
Our #nationalparks are truly special places that so easily captivate. I've been to #archesnationalpark before but I still couldn't stop staring at the massive sandstone walls and nature's sculptures. The park was made especially beautiful today with the contrast of snow against a desert landscape with frosty peaks in the distance. Amazing what a little (like millions of years worth) wind and water can do, huh?
Today we looked at maps from parks across the country, including @canyonlandsnps. Mesa Arch may be one of the most popular and easiest walks there, but it without doubt has a view to stop one even when they are in a hurry. Utah was our last state before reaching our final destination of Colorado, and I can’t wait to get back to these #canyons and 🏜 in the spring.
This time though, my family will be heading down to the Needles as well—a district I haven’t ventured to since I was in elementary school. This area has so much to offer, and even a week is barely enough time to revisit #hikes and hit new spots circled on the map.
Had an epic time visiting my hometown valley in New Castle, ColoRADo for a hot minute!! Thank you so much to everyone I got to visit! It was so amazing to see you beautiful people! I will let you all know when I come back through for a visit and hope to see more of you next time! Today me and Jo made a 651 mile, 10 hour road trip back to Phoenix! Love you all so much and until next time!!🤘❤️✌️
Definitely could’ve done better, but also could’ve done worse.
Wolfgang and I drove 33 hours and over 2000 miles in one shot to get to Indian Creek, Utah. The goal was to put down Airwolf quickly and then head out to Bishop. Sometimes things go the way you want, and sometimes you travel to the other side of the country to eat shit on your second attempt of the trip and sprain an ankle. 😂😂😂 Looks like a chunk to this climbing trip is turning into a photography trip. I’ll throw up a bunch of stuff over the next few weeks of this experience. We made it out to Bishop today and it’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to. Going to have fun limping my ass around the mountains for the next month 😂😂 📸 @wolfgang_schwan with this snap of me seconds before destroying my ankle.
Have you heard the news? The United States Olympic Committee has chosen Salt Lake City for the 2030 Olympic bid! Fun fact: the Olympic venues in Utah are one of the few complexes in the world that have remained operational and open to the public.
@matt.amendolara and I just climbed our first desert tower! 🏜"Owl Rock" is a 100ft single pitch 5.8 in Arches National Park. In the first picture it's the formation all the way to the right. I've never climbed anything this intimidating but I followed Matts confident lead and fought my way up. We're super proud and sore and ready for the next adventure here in Moab! ☺️💪🏻🏞🌵
Some of my favorite pictures from the road trip 🗺 We didn't had the choice to run up there to catch up the sunset and experience this amazing and unbelievable view. Even if I was out of breath, this run was so worth it ❤
Did you know you can name undocumented arches in Arches National Park if you discover them? Maybe one day I’ll get to to that. Or maybe I’ll pursue my childhood of being a paleontologist and find a dinosaur, since Utah’s the best place to find dinosaur fossils in the US. Either way, I’m very excited to go back home after finals. #beutahful#delicatearch#archesnationalpark#moab
