It’s beginning to look *ahem TASTE* a lot like Christmas with our Cherry Walnut Bitters. Anise forward with a deep nutty background. Sweet bing cherries balance the bitter notes and can’t help enhance Christmas and non Christmas drinks alike. If you’re curious for a good cocktail using these bitters stayed tuned for a post later this week.
You have to truly love what you do to consistently deliver. Love meeting new people, love catching up with our friends, and love crafting each drink to look and taste like a dream.

Our “Waves on Tap” is the product of one of only two @hendricksgin cocktail-on-tap systems in the Midwest, and boy howdy is it delicious. Hendrick’s gin, Fiorente elderflower, citric acid, and a touch of rosewater combine to create this crystal-clear gimlet, and the best part: on Wednesdays, it’s only $6. Swing through tonight; if you ask we’ll even show you the room where we’re secretly watching the @chiefs!
I wanted something a little spicy and a little sweet so I came up with this.
2oz cognac I used Pierre Ferrand 1840 cognac
1/4oz ginger syrup
3 dashes cranberry bitters
It was quite good.
Garnished with an orange twist
I used my homemade ginger syrup which is super spicy . The drink turned out terrific.

The Mule, an iconic cocktail format conceived in the 40s. It’s inception came as much out of necessity as it did creativity and its popularity marked the beginning of America’s love affair with vodka.
Let’s take it a step further
I recently received a bottle of @boukhabokobsa, which came all the way from France! They were kind enough to send me one to try out and I was pretty stoked because I’ve never tried an Eau-de-Vie or even any kind of fig liqueur so this gave me some great new material to play around with. The first thing I mixed it in was your basic sour recipe because I wanted to see how the spirit did in a base recipe like that. And rather than just using lemon juice, I muddled the whole lemon to get the oils out of the skin as well and it definitely adds a punch to the drink. It has a sharp tartness as it hits your mouth, but it’s not overpowering because it’s quickly taken over by the sweet fig flavor of the Eau-de-Vie.
This brand uses a recipe that’s been around for almost 2 centuries, so it’s definitely some real delicious stuff. Go check them out if you have a minute, plus they just launched in the US market! 🤗 Cheers! 🥂
2 oz. @boukhabokobsa
1 oz. Simple Syrup
Half of a large lemon
Cut half a large lemon into quarters and place in shaker tin. Muddle heavily to release all juice and oils. Add in other ingredients and shake with ice. Fine strain into coupe glass and garnish with lemon twist.
Brandy Milk Punch with my beloved @belleannee makes it feel like the season is upon us. There is an almost frosty quality to hers which she suggests, and I wholeheartedly agree makes the BEST hostess gift ever presented in a large beautiful bottle. Make sure to double the recipe and enjoy some Holiday cheer of your own. 😉Recipe in my bio.
