Being single does not mean you are a sitting duck waiting for your next partner 🦆 I was single for 8 years when I built a solid relationship with a Power Greater than myself. It was then that I looked at why I chose the partners I did (emotionally unavailable attractive men 🙋♀️) and worked on increasing my self-esteem, self-worth and to learn better boundaries. The next person I dated was a good man that would have never hurt me, but the timing was not right for a serious relationship. There was personal growth apparent in the choice, although it was still painful to let him go. Exploring my ways of attachment and religious ideas became the next phase of my development. My point is, there are no mistakes. The time & space you are given during moments of being unattached are gifts for your SELF. Use your waiting time wisely. #selfesteem#selfovercoming#selfdiscipline#recovery#writersofinstagram#waiting#singlemom#singlegirl#single#soberissexy#mistakes#religion#perspective#Transformation#wellness#wellnesswednesday#gratitude
~ Even today, from the primary school, words and figures are kept apart by strict distinctions. While reading and writing are things that must be taught, drawing is considered a recreational activity. The children are corrected if they make grammar mistakes or if they expose their thoughts in an unclear way. This does not happen with the drawings, for which they receive generic compliments more or less enthusiastic: the drawings are not treated as communication, but as an expression of the self. There is therefore nothing to correct according to the teachers.
This model is debatable: not only the drawing is communication (and many things can be taught and correct), but, relegating it to the domain of talent and genius, the least predisposed children are deprived of an instrument useful for reasoning and visualization of thought. Imagine the overturned situation: because a child does not immediately manifest a talent for writing, the educator, not seeing in him a potential Goethe, refuses to teach him to write. ~ #truth#falcinelli#immenselacunescolastiche
1. The definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over and expecting different #results .
2. YOU ARE NOT INSANE.
3. If you’re going to make #mistakes , make a new one.
4. If you are ready for something new you have to DO SOMETHING #NEW . Set #fire and #purpose to doing things differently, so much so that you have no remembrance of what you did before.
5. Because, YOU ARE NOT INSANE.
