These leather swivel counter height stools were a perfect line up for project completion photos. Thanks @mingle_mn!

Friday is bride-day! 👰
The fabrics I special ordered finally came in! The bottom bolt is a matte stretch charmeuse and the top bolt is a soft mesh.
I have a bodice mock-up to fit on my bride today and then it's on to actual wedding dress construction! Yay!
In their 80’s, the clients of this recent kitchen remodel will remain in my mind as “forever young…” Working with this couple, it became evident that having an open mind and spirit for adventure is a gift that keeps us young.
Favorite moment: Exploring a lighting store together and having them exclaim when spotting those stunning, modern glass pendant lights. It was love at first sight!
Coincidentally, the same pendants caught my eye as I perused the store prior to our appointment. Yay! Together with the hextile backsplash, this combination would add a nice modern flair to a traditional style kitchen.
You know how I love a good mix!

Heading to Sioux Falls for a wedding this weekend (can’t wait to celebrate you, @kiraloftesness)!! I absolutely love weddings and creating custom decor for them.
One of my favorite projects was creating this custom window sign for @brookedunk! If you’re ever in need of a custom sign, I’d love to help 💕
With the final designs approved yesterday, I can officially say that I'm making a wedding dress!!!
I'm so excited I can hardly contain it!
The bride and her fiance are having a short engagement, so I've already planned everything meticulously to meet their fast approaching August wedding date!
One of my favorite things is a morning filled with sunshine and coffee! Thankful for the little joys God blesses me with each day ✨
What’s brining you joy this morning? Let’s look for the good in each day!
Here's a little reversible sun hat that matches the dress in my last post! It kind of looks like an octopus when it's sitting on the table haha 🐙
Feeling so relaxed and refreshed after a long weekend with family and friends. Now I’m ready to tackle the week and start designing some fun new projects!
What are you working on this week? Have a great Tuesday friends 🌿
Been busy with more baby clothes this weekend! These pretty symmetrical pieces will be a hat soon.
You'll have to watch @kristyglassknits upcoming video to figure out exactly how many layers of @mpranica Knits she's wearing.
I'm halfway through taking these overall shorts in at the waist and I'm thinking it would've been easier to just return them for a smaller size...such is life haha
How cute is the polka dot pattern though??
Guess who added another Brother machine to their arsenal! 😀
I've never had an overlocker/serger machine before, so I'm really excited to start practicing on it! Threading already took me 10 whole minutes haha, so hopefully that will improve quickly the more I get the hang of it.
Happy Mother's Day to my amazing mommy, who's own handmade wedding dress inspired me to want to learn how to make clothes, who taught 8 year old me how to sew, and who three years ago helped me zip up my wedding dress that I made!
Shout out to moms everywhere for being encouraging and full of awesomeness!

Does anyone else start a project and as you continue to work on it you realize that you don't like it as much as you had anticipated and then you just sort of set it off to the side without finishing it? 🙋
I started this LBD last summer after I bought a gorgeous piece of leather from @moodfabrics. Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE how the back turned out and it fits me like a glove (even better than it fits the dress form). My problem lies with the front...I thought a high neck would be a cool contrast to the low back, but something just isn't quite right in the shape; it makes the dress look dowdy and old ladyish for lack of a better word (which is baffling because it's made of LEATHER for goodness sake!)
Maybe in posting my struggles with this design I'll get a genius idea on how to fix it. Or if YOU have any redesign ideas, let me know!
