Where do you find your grounding?

For those who are new to Human Design: Human Design is a synthesis of ancient wisdom and modern science. It contains elements of the zodiac astrology, the chakra-system, the Kabbala tree of life, the Chinese I Ching but also of quantum physics and biochemistry. All of these aspects are brought together in our personal charts and display a ridiculously accurate constellation of our energies, of who we are, how we function and how we interact with the world.

When we look at the influence that the planets and celestial bodies have on us, the Earth has an important role (unlike conventional astrology). What a difference a couple months can make. Earlier this year I was trapped in a prison I made for myself. I built a job where my boss (me) needed 80 hours a week, didn’t pay much and didn’t give vacation days or time off. If we wouldn’t accept being treated that way in a normal job, why do I always hear stories of similar situations among other entrepreneurs? You can’t give to others if you are pouring from an empty cup. Find what you are passionate about, take risks, work hard, but above all else, love yourself. Treat yourself how you want others to treat you. Talk to yourself like you want others to talk to you. If you wouldn’t want someone calling you dumb, fat, unsuccessful, etc. why are you allowing the voice in your head to say those things whenever you make a mistake, miss a day at the gym, or don’t hit financial goals?

If you don’t like your current situation than change it. If your boss isn’t treating you well, even if that’s you, then stand up for yourself. Worst thing that can happen is that you reflect on it months down the road and have the freedom you used to crave, with the relationship you wanted, and the income you always looked for. It’s out there. Don’t settle. ✌️

Blend for a few seconds until broken down.

So mindfulness is all about focusing on one thing, about being in the moment, about being focused purely on that. My husband bought me this colouring book at the weekend, so sweet! So mega husband points for that.

I said I’d been bored in the week and needed something to relax with other than becoming brain dead by the tv in the evenings. 
So this is a great way of introducing yourself to mindfulness, which can be a tricky thing to get your head around at first and when I don’t have time to meditate or take time out of my day, I do this with the kids. Sometimes I get at least 20 minutes out of it....before they wanna start helping mummy 😂 •

Recently I have been feeling so much sadness, so much deep feelings + life transition in my daily moments. And the realization I’ve come to that has offered me a breath of fresh air, the feeling of release + letting go? I am not defined as a photographer. This part of my life may not serve me as much as I thought anymore.

We ebb and flow. We are allowed to let pieces of ourselves die off, to take up less space. We are constantly regenerating ourselves - literally our cells become new every seven years! We become a new human, a more improved soul. Our cells let go of the trauma they remember deeply, and we can feel and be enough at the exact same time.

Fall/winter closet rotation is completed.  90% filled with secondhand finds,  organized, simplified,  and in my size.  Nothing worst than a cluttered closet filled with things you need really wear,  things you bought to fill an emotional void,  that's don't fit you right so never gets worn or doesn't make you feel good.  When your closet is messy,  not right for you,  full of excess,  we tend to think we need more.  It's amazing how having less can feel like more. .
A year and a half ago I reduced my closet down to 50 hangers plus a packed dresser.  That was a 70% purge.  Now I'm down to 28 hangers and well organized bins and small pant/ legging rack.  I also own way less shoes and only have 2 purses.  I still feel like I have so much yet so little in comparison to where I started. .

We are bio-electrical beings and our bodies are made up of trillions of atoms that all hold an electrical charge, not to mention all of the other things we come into contact with on a daily basis that also hold an electrical charge (like the phone in your hand) 📲 We are taught about the importance of grounding electricity in our homes, but what about the importance of grounding these bodies in which we LIVE?! When you consider how little time we actually spend with our feet on the Earth, with no shoes on or even just sitting on the ground, this may start to make sense. When we are out in nature or going for a walk we have shoes with rubber soles on them – this literally inhibits our bodies from being able to do so. Did you know that you could get all the antioxidants your body needs by simply going outside and putting your bare feet in the Earths soil every day?! People who ground themselves regularly have reported feeling more centered, solid, strong, balanced, less tense, less stressed, less inflammation and pain. I’ve personally adding this into my daily routine by walking outside in the grass every morning with my cup of coffee. We are living on this Earth for a reason, and the more we can reconnect with her, the more healing we can experience. Take your shoes off, walk barefoot, hug a tree and thank your body for allowing you to do so. It’s all connected. 👁🌿✨

***Taking YOUR “Power” Back...What does this really mean*** “Taking your power back” This is such a beautiful way of expressing what we really possess but is so very broad. 
Sometimes we do not even “know” what our power is or why we are calling it “power” right?

Let me break it down.... What I have discovered through my self discovery journey this far is that this “power” that everyone talks about in the self development and spiritual world is as simple as self acceptance.

It may be simple...but simple is not always easy. 
You see connection is like oxygen for us as human beings we have developed to think that we have to give a part of ourself away to create a connection.

Or.... We do not want to be responsible for a part of ourself so we give it away to create a blame towards anyone or anything else EXCEPT ourselves.

The point is that there are parts of us given away because we have been groomed to think this is “how” you make connections but they always end up superficial or we start to resent that we gave that person, situation, or even substance a part of us and then it starts..... The growing of frustration, anger, resentment, depression, the list goes on and on..... This discomfort we feel is when we start getting curious to making a change. 
But.... “How” do you make these changes?

The change is you taking those parts back... Accepting them for what they are and even what they have turned into.

It feels funny at first, unfamiliar because you are letting a part of you back in and choosing to understand it, why you gave it away in the first place, rebuilding a relationship with that part of self, showing that part it deserves love.

This is when the healing can begin, and not just putting a bandaid on the wound.

For a significant number of people, autumn is a time of serious suffering associated with a bad mood, and sometimes with the experience of severe depressive states.Distemper and depression are emotions that are not caused by any situation — this is your reaction to the situation that has been created, namely, the way you interpret it yourself. Depression or spleen is not the result of difficulties and troubles, as well as disappointments, but what you think about them and how you will feel when you come across them. That's why I tell everyone, that fall is a good time to find a time to take a break and think about everything that worries you and mindfully not emotionally find a ways to solve it. Last night I was taught a meditation on the 4 Powers ⚡️ Something I appreciate about this technique is that it is accessible to all people, from beginner to experienced practitioner. After finding a comfortable seated position in a quiet place, close your eyes and bring your awareness to the breath. Inhale, exhale, rising, and falling.

The first step of this meditation is to simply remember. Remember the golden rule, the principle of treating others the way which you would hope to be treated. Attempt to cultivate a sense of compassion for all beings. In Buddhist tradition, the qualities of Dharma, the Buddha, and the Sangha, or community are practiced.

The second step of this technique is regret. Regret any harm you have caused, with an honest desire to not repeat this harm again. This step is not to make you feel guilt, or remorse, but rather as a tool to recognize where you could have done better.

Next, we apologize and make our best attempt to right the wrong. The third step is repair. From my experience I have recognized several different approaches when it comes to making amends. At times, it may be best to contact whoever it is you have harmed and meet them in person. If finances are involved those better be payed too 💸 Be prepared! I have encountered a few occasions in my life where the other person was not ready to speak, or meet face to face. Times like this may call for a living amends, where you have recognized your wrong and make a firm decision to not repeat your mistake. These are all suitable ways to correct wrong past behavior.

The last part of the 4 Powers technique is resolve. We mindfully ask ourselves, “what can I do to avoid making this mistake again?” If you have taken an honest approach with the first 3 steps the answer is sure to come. Sometimes when we feel a disturbance with a person, or thing, we have failed to recognize our own role in the conflict. Through this awareness we are able to resolve these conflicts and the highest states of freedom are experienced.

Have been feeling less than energetic the past couple days and my schedule is slow, so study time it is. .

I am currently taking come online courses for my business and education as well as trying to get some back end business things happening. I usually feel kinda guilty if I sit and read for my courses instead of working on content and business stuff. But I have to do the reading too! I have been trying to allow myself to have slower days when I’m not feeling it. .

This is another thing I did on my health journey. I started to practice reconnecting to my body.

I did this through body awareness meditations. I started reconnecting to parts of my body to send it love and healing, but to also receive feedback and messages

Then I used awareness around making choices because I do not believe in depriving myself. So if I wanted a soda or chocolate I would ask myself again.

Body do you really need this or is this just my addiction? I would get an answer- always addiction 😂😂

then I would say why do you want this? Usually it’s because I’m at work and stressed out 💗

then I would ask myself how will you feel after you drink this soda? Probably like shit!

Okay body do you still want a soda? And I usually say YES 😂😂 or no.

I either drink it or don’t but I always check back in- in an hour to see how my body felt drinking that soda.

I do that to bring awareness to how the soda or whatever I’m doing (food, emotions, reactions, movement,etc) I want my mind to lock in the feeling my body is going through and I relate it back to the choices I made

So next time I crave something my mind will relate to this moment and I get to do the whole process all over again.

This is what has made it easier to say NO and don’t forget I still say YES sometimes

Uno es beber agua, al hacerlo le dices que no estas en peligro, si lo estuvieras no te pararías a beber. Baja el cortisol y la testosterona.

Los caminos de la felicidad son tan dulces como agrios porque dependen de algo muy importante, UNO y mantenerse enfocado con tanto ruido es a veces agotador. Este viaje nuevamente sola, alimenta la fuerza de mi espíritu que busca descubrirse porque con cada evolución hay algo más por descubrir y/o enfrentar o sea un camino que no termina jamás. Si!! la vida en el mar es sabrosa! Y todos se pasa anhelando que pase rápido el año o cada día para tomar unas vacaciones pero de que? De la mente, las personas que los rodean, la realidad que no les gusta, del ruido y presión de todos? Nooo, ese si! es un problema, por ello es importante empezar a cortar vínculos para evitar anhelar escapar. Esto es preciso para tener una vida plena. Y que las "vacaciones" sean un tiempo para arraigar creencias, fuerzas, VOLUNTADES, RECARGARSE, planear nuevos pasos, CREAR conexiones, vínculos y no el escape de una vida que se odia.
