This could also mean that it’s time for you to plan that trip you’ve been putting off. Everyone needs to step away from responsibility from time to time, and that includes you. The mere act of planning your trip will get you excited and have something to look forward to. If you aren’t traveling anywhere this week, then this could indicate an inner journey. Perhaps you’ve just started anew with something, or have plans to do something different. Make sure that you’re prepared for your soul journey as best you can be. But as with all things, also remain open and prepare for the unprepared. This couldn’t be more true. I have always been an active personal from sports in school, to dancing at theme parks, then performing on cruise ships. But as many of you know the hustle and bustle of life can often get the best of us and with that comes excuses. Well for me I decided will not settle for these excuses any longer. I already eat really healthy, am very aware of the things I introduce to my body, and live a holistic life style. But I have been at the fault of not working out and making excuses. Moving to new country was tough and not having friends was hard so I tried to keep my mind busy but to busy I suppose to workout. I let stress of immigrating weigh me down. Today I embrace a new journey. I joined a group of amazing ladies who will hold me accountable and push me when I feel like giving in. I will post my progress, share my success, and my struggles. If you see anything along the way that inspires you message me and join me on this journey. This is me authentically and I’m ready to embrace my best self yet! .
I’ve never posted a photo so exposed, with all my imperfections. I guess in a way it feels rewarding to not be ashamed of what I see in the mirror but only seeing what I will become. Not just physically but mentally defined. .
My goal isn’t to necessarily lose weight but to define, tone, and be at my strongest. To push myself harder then I ever have. Starting weight 122 lbs. Here’s my before..I’m excited to see my afters! Let’s do this!

I almost deleted this photo because I was self conscious taking it. I haven't felt confident in my body lately. I've been tired, achy and needing more rest than I'm giving myself. I haven't been appreciating the progress, beauty and achievements I'm making in bodybuilding and business.
I bought David and I some flowers for our home and they reminded me that every phase is BEAUTIFUL 🌻. We just need to be willing to take time and cherish it.
And now looking at this photo again, I'm FINALLY getting more quad/hamstring separation and definition. 😍 Now I'm going to refresh and restart this week to give back even more. Are you with me?

This is the main reason of why I'm always doing yoga in the same place, because for me it goes beyond the physical part of the practice, I need that peace of mind and soul to be available to connect with my energy flow otherwise I'm not myself!
How to creat a sacred space?
🔮 find a quiet place at your home where you can disconnect from your day.
🔮 add objects that are meaningful for you, and help you feel peaceful and also empowered when you are around them! 🔮 make it at habit, step in your sacred space daily even if it is for only few minutes a day! 🔮 make it simple but soulful, remember little steps always make the difference, meditate and be thankful! Fathers Day is a day that most of us feel entitled to celebrate - yet, many people either do not have fathers or do not have relationships with their fathers. For this minority, Father's Day is, at best, bittersweet.
So what can you do when there's no one to honor on Father's Day? Here are some suggestions to help you through the day:
Join someone else's celebration. Most of us have friends who would be happy to include us in their Father's Day celebration.
Create your own ritual, which can include visiting his grave, lighting a candle, connecting with siblings who have shared your loss or doing something completely unrelated.
Take stock of the good male role models in your life. Send a note of gratitude to a teacher, mentor, or a friend's father who has had a positive influence on your life. · Volunteer. Giving is a great conduit to healing.
Most importantly, be good to yourself. Be gentle, nurturing and accepting of whatever emotions surface. Make this Sunday a peaceful one. ✨💕

My little heart floats in the sky & from time to time, the real world can become tiring, gruesome even, pulling on my heartstrings... but I'm learning to let go of the things that I cannot control. Our body, mind, and soul is composed wholly of the cosmic energies. Our energy attracts it's own kind, manifesting itself. To align the positive energy, to ground our feet into Mother Earth, softly repeat positive affirmations when your eyes slowly open to a new day - 'I am made of the stars, the dirt, the salty ocean, the beating hearts of other creatures, and I see the best in all living beings.' ☮

I have wrestled with this day for years. I clearly have a father but I never had a father. My mother says she left my dad about 6 months after this photo was taken. She then became my everything and with the help of my Nani and my uncles and then my step-dad I can proudly say I didn't turn out so bad...for the most part 😜. Still every year, on this day, there was an emptiness that I felt. I grew up with love and support but I never really knew my father and I think a lot of my issues in the past dealt with that. A feeling of abandonment. So for most of my life I searched for love in all the wrong places. But what I can say now is that I know his choices had nothing to do with me and I can't blame him forever. I can finally let go of wanting him to be different so that I can feel good. I know now that I can feel good all on my own. Because the only way to fill that void is to love yourself. It must come from within first. ☀️☀️ Sunday afternoon vibes ☀️☀️
Before I committed to my meditation practice I was always waiting for the next day off; the next long weekend; the next vacation in the distance. My mind would be three steps ahead all the time, racing in such a way that even when I would have time to "relax" after work, I wouldn't actually be relaxed. And I was okay with that... Because I had that "next opportunity" to slow down around the corner. (🙋♀️ ex burn-out champ over here! 😅)
And then! Those weekends were usually full of To-Do's; long weekends would be spent getting the over due projects in; and those vacations--while fun-- I'd have that mental reel of the next three steps going so that I'd 've prepared when I'd get home. 🙃 I'd feel like I'd need a holiday to recoup from a holiday!
Nowadays, after having trained my mind out of that anxious cycle, I take 'present moment mini vacations.' All. The. Time. 💃 I ease back into timelessness and feel the day, the week, the month melt off of my shoulders. 💖 I soak up my surroundings and find joy in all the still moments, and relaxation in the simplest of activities. Refreshing my mind, body, and soul. Knowing that the next day will bring another opportunity to dip into the serenity of Now. 🕉 Thank you, Universe. .

A girl sitting at the bar top at the restaurant I work at said, “But yeah it’s like where do I go though if I want a good salad with like tofu & everything? I just can’t get that anywhere!” I said, “No, you can’t. You go make it”.
She said, “But it’s like I could just come here and get whatever I want. I could go out and get something and get whatever I want”.
And I looked at her and said, “Yeah, except for the body you want”. In my head I thought, “And everything you are truly searching for”. -

Coming Together, In Person
We can read about the solstice on the Internet. We can try to live it by way of others lives we follow on the screen. But we are up against great obstacles this day in age. Post 2 Essential oils & Fitness Lunchtime Series: Essential Oils for Pre & post workout
Each essential oil has a unique set of chemical properties that give the oil a distinct aroma, specific benefits, and makes it useful for certain tasks. When it comes to using essential oils for fitness, the most useful oils will be ones with warming, cooling, uplifting, or calming properties.
In today’s post we will be talking about Warming & Cooling Essential oils
Essential oils with warming or cooling properties can be helpful both before and after exercise because they can provide a soothing sensation to the skin and other areas of the body. For example, by topically massaging warming oils into the skin during your warm up, you can help loosen the muscles and prepare them for movement.
When you are done exercising, applying cooling oils to areas like the legs, feet, and back can help soothe the body.
Both warming and cooling oils are useful during a warm up or a cool down, and can be helpful for things like stretching and massage.
Examples of essential oils with warming properties include:
- Black Pepper;
- Cinnamon Bark;
- Frankincense; - Wintergreen or;
- my favourite doTERRA’s proprietary blend, Ice (Deep) Blue (oil or rub) which I use pre and post workout.
Examples of essential oils with cooling properties include:
- Cardamom; and - Peppermint.
