Our journey through any hardship always presents positive opportunities, if we choose to see it. Look around you during your days of back pain to recognize what has been opened to you: deeper relationships, more time with family, slowing down, .... You will find your way through this, by strengthening your mind and body. (the quote above is adapted from one originally written by Aristotle)
Happy Sunday 🙏🏻 Listen to your body and heart • “Listen in a way that sends a message to your entire being. A message that says I love you and I hear you. I fully accept you for everything that you are in this moment. ..Let that same message gently calm the buzzing thoughts still occurring. Comfort any remaining feeling that you need to be in any place other than where you are in this moment or that you need to be any different. Silently make a promise to yourself of how you’ll come back to this place again and again without fail, quicker and louder than you did the time before - This is how you slowly become your best friend, and the most beautiful version of yourself 🌍💚” - @natashadurel
Feeling so grateful that I hosted my first Personalized Wellness Retreat this weekend! 🙏🏻 My retreater is a client of mine in grade 10 and she truly enjoyed the experience. Here are some pictures I wanted to share from the retreat: the guest room for the retreaters, millet and tagine was served for dinner, mindfulness colouring as a calming activity during quiet time, kale and quinoa salad, grilled avocado and a hard boiled egg for lunch, meditation wrapped up in an @shophalfmoon blanket and a mindfulness walk around 16 mile creek. She left feeling calm, relaxed and re-energized from healthy eating, meditating and being unplugged! Mission Accomplished ✅🙏🏻😊 #empoweringyoungwomen#wellnessretreats#mindfulnessmeditation#destress#lovemyjob
https://authentic-abundance.weebly.com/the-triangle-of-manifestation.html In this 33 day program we will be bringing forward tools and techniques to work all sides of the triangle, the emotional, the mental, and the physical. We also will work the Spiritual which encompass the Blessings, the Grace and information from the Source, the Consciousness that run through all levels.
Bringing forward all these levels and focusing them in the same direction is a very powerful way to bring forward the blessings in your life.
Making this a daily process for 33 days is a powerful process that can shift old misbeliefs and habits to the mindset and energy to manifest your vision.
In this program you will:
Learn how to work the Living Vision to clarify and bring forward the authentic abundance.
Learn to reprogram your self talk, script to be conscious, uplifting and assist you in creating the life you want.
Learn to reprogram the habit of negative thinking and move that to positive creation
Learn to go into the open creative field to both assist you in letting go of unconscious misbeliefs and to allow the blessings to come forward
Learn to open up to receive from the Source
Learn to go past procrastination and move intuitively in the world to create what you want
Learn to activate the Mental, Emotional and Physical action steps and turbocharge them with Co-Creation with Spirit into precipitating what you want.
We will be meeting each week as a group online, 4 classes in all.
You also will receive daily support to do the program and see you through to living your vision for 33 days
You will have a clear daily program that will support you in your manifestation.
This also includes private one to one sessions with me to assist you in clarifying your process to success. This program begins Wednesday, December 19th at 8:30pm CDT, 7:30pm MDT and 6:30pm PDT
When I work with clients, I don't fix them. That would imply that they're broken and they're not. My work is to help their body understand where it's stuck, where they need to direct more attention or how they can shift their movement or their mindset to come into alignment with the essence of who they truly are.
When you stop trying to punish the body by beating up on sore areas or labeling yourself as weak and opt instead to provide a feeling of safety and security, the body responds in powerful ways. Your body is perfectly equipped to heal itself, you need to start by removing the brakes.

We all need to practice breast care and breast cancer prevention all year long, not just during breast cancer awareness month, or during a race to raise more money for chemotherapy treatments. Preventing cancer is a lifestyle we live every day, not just for one month out of the year, or one day. Day after day, our breasts want some pretty basic fundamental things to be well: plenty of pure alkaline water, healthy whole organic foods free of pesticides, herbicides and dioxin, plenty of healthy fats, and a cease and desist on heavy metals like mercury, aluminum and arsenic, ditto for petroleum products on our skin or toxic antiperspirants in our armpits. And what about those bras strapped to your chest 12 hours a day blocking the natural flow of lymph in and out of your breasts. Breasts want you to walk every day so they can move and groove while you walk. Breasts like to be touched and massaged and talked to. Our vulnerable breasts, so feminine, need a lot of love to be well in the toxic soup we have created of our delicate ecosystem. So every day, love some breasts, starting with your own.
Day 16 of 31 and today’s self care activity is making his and hers blueberry lemon drop martinis. I’m proud to say that I did a good job...I may have missed my calling as a bartender 🤔😂
What’s your self care activity today?
Otherwise known as the science of #habit formation, #neuroplasticity is the phenomenon that describes how our neural connections & pathways are formed in our 🧠over time.
The real reason why it’s so hard for many to break destructive 🚬or addictive habits, or to make a positive change in their lives is because over time we’ve literally WIRED ⚙️our brains to either act or react that way.
The more we send signals down pathways we don’t want, either by making poor decisions, or thinking negative self destructive thoughts, the STRONGER 💪🏾 those pathways become, and the harder it is to deviate from them.
If you keep calling yourself ugly, stupid, disgusting, or unworthy of love, eventually no one will be able to tell you otherwise.
These things become the status quo in the brain, which quickly turns into what the brain perceives as normal or even comfortable.
If you ask anyone who has overcome a bad habit, lost a ridiculous amount of weight, or made significant positive change in their lives, almost all will tell you the battle was first won in their head, by constantly reminding themselves (repetition) that the past is simply a part of their story, not a part of who they are.
We can strengthen, breakdown or even recreate these pathways with the choices we make daily. The more you practice engaging in self love, the easier it gets to do it over time.
If you keep telling yourself that you’re a sexy mf, worthy of love, respect and affection, you’ll soon begin to walk like it, talk like it, and eventually no one will be able to tell you otherwise.
The mind isn’t going to stop thinking. The goal of mindfulness isn’t to suppress thinking, but to surpass it.
The key lies in how you react to those thoughts. Sometimes, If you focus on your thinking your thoughts may become hijacked by a barrage of thoughts and worries.
When you focus on your breathing and your body however thoughts can come more clearly.
It’s a daily consistent appointment you should make, and keep with yourself.
We hope you had an adventurous weekend and we look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

"Slow" is how eveyone described this shoulder recovery process would be. Slow, is just not in my vocabulary. So, I chose to look at this post-op process as a reboot not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. 70 days post-op and progress is definitely being made...steady and with lots of self restraint and less self judgment. A huge shout out to @npt_healthworks for their 1 on 1 patient care. I truly believe the services and clinical care you provide have assisted in the steady progress of my recovery...thank you! Also to all my @pulsenewport gang for reminding me to put down the kettlebells or step away from the rower if I get a little too motivated when I'm teaching! And of course @gameonnewport staff for tiring out wyatt for this momma! @airbrushone Thanks for the quick face and arms glow 🙌 This journey isn't finished yet... #postoperation#rotatorcufftear#labrumtear#REBOOT#selfhealing#steadyprogress#notfinishedyet *
🔝☝️This is my journey to recovery from shoulder surgery in October.

I have developed an evening routine using the @houseofintuition intention cards to increase positive energy and faith to assist me to settle down for the evening. I realize the importance of taking the time to nourish my soul is crucial for me every single day.
DAY 1 of the #ChristmasChakras challenge, WOOP! Day 1 is a Root pose, Warrior 2. ❄
The root chakra, or #Muladhara , is our body's most primal and fundamental energy center, being located at the base of our spine, or groin area. Being associated with the color red, the root chakra regulates the energy associated with instinct, survival, and safety.
#RootChakra healing is the practice of opening, clearing, cleansing, supporting and strengthening of the chakra. Most effectively for me in bringing balance to my Muladhara is through pranayama, meditation, chanting and yoga asana that stimulate that chakra.
I'm mixing it up with today's pose with an extreme side angle pose. • • • • •

Did you take some time this weekend to exercise? You did? AWESOME! If you didn't, do not worry. Tomorrow is a new day and a new start. We know it is December but set a goal to exercise every day, even if it is for a few minutes (let's say 20 minutes). Not because of your physical appearance but because it will keep you energized through the holidays, it will help you relax and it will help you feel healthy, both in mind and body.
We want to create a progressive community dedicated to enlightening our collective understanding of the highs and lows of ladyhood. We’d love to know what you want to know about! Don’t hold back. DM us any ideas, questions or comments. We’d really appreciate it! 💕🌸💕 #ladysuite#theglowbelow
The End is the Beginning
A marathon is a metaphor for life. There are ups, there are downs, and most importantly there are opportunities for growth.
I believe there are two types of growth 1) a struggle and 2) An Enlightenment. Running teaches you both. A struggle is simply exposing your body, mind, or Spirit to higher demands & experiencing a new level of suffering. Enlightenment is an awareness so deep that one gets lost in the present moment. It is an altered state of consciousness and you lose your sense of self & time. Tara Brach calls this Radical Acceptance. Both are experiences into the unknown. These experiences are the heart beat of life. They are your teaches.
A long the way you have to be willing to struggle to adapt to new levels to acheive empowering goals. And when you do cross the finish line there is a new starting line for your next journey. This is the beauty of life. The end is the beginning.

When me and my brother were little, we used to run around pretending we were carebears. With my hands on my hips, I would visualize light and rainbows pouring out of my tummy.
Not much has changed. I love being a beacon of light, but I’ve been in stormy waters for a bit here now. At first I was terrified that the heavy waves crashing down would take me under, but since it became evident that that wasn’t going to happen, I’ve just been wading it out.
This past week I’ve been trying to sleep away the rest of 2018 - just so ready for this insane year to be over. Then I realized that it’s Christmastime - my favorite time of year - and I just refuse to sleep through it.
Sometimes it is these very hardest times that we later look back on and realize contain some of the most cherished moments of our lives. I have experienced this miracle again and again and if there’s one thing I’d want to impress upon someone else going through something really hard, it would be this.
I too this photo shortly after it happened this Summer - I guess maybe wanting some pictorial evidence that I was still me.
I’m making a Christmas promise to do things that bring my heart joy every day. And to hold myself to that promise, I’m going to be posting pictures of those very things.
Changing your internal reality oftentimes comes from choosing to do things out of accordance with that internal reality. This is the very essence of free will. ✨

I’m about to go back home for the holiday break and I don’t want anything in my fridge or pantry to go to waste !! I’ve been finding ways to recreate and make a ton of leftover goodies and this is one of them:
Blackberry Dyed Oats
1/2 cup of oats
1 cup of water (or milk)
Handful of organic blackberries
Blackberries go into the mix when the oats are done. Smash them up and your oats will turn prettynPink 🌷
Vegan Penne alla Vodka
1 cup of @eatbanza chickpea pasta
1 cup of tomato sauce
A hefty pour of canned coconut milk, as much as you want
A whole lotta basil
Salt n pepper
Just mix it all together
All on my new n cool @whimandvigor plate 😎
Matcha Oatmeal 🧚🏻♂️
1/2 cup of oats
1 cup of water (or milk)
1 tbsp of matcha
I put my oats in a pot with water and mix that around until the oats are fluffy and creamy. Then I shut the heat off and put the matcha in and mixed it all around and served VOOOILA !! (+ peanut butter, blueberries and blackberries)
