What an amazing speaker and a true American hero, Robert J. O’Neill. Such a privilege to be sitting in this audience! I will never be able to fathom the training you’ve gone through to be a Navy SEAL and then to the Seal Team Six with the mission of your life. I took down notes, and these life lessons will never leave me. You said “fear will make you think more clearly”, and acknowledging that fear teaches you how to respond, not react, to situations thrown at you. Thank you for sharing life lessons like acknowledging mistakes and letting go, moving and failing forward, and so much more. I have the utmost respect for you and I thank you for your service. 🇺🇸🙌🏻🤯 #mindblown#robertjoneill#fbignite2018#trueamericanhero#mindset#neverquit#sealteamsix#respect
Thank you so much for the friendship, your kind effort to make it from the East to the West and the Christmas gift surprise.
When I asked you ''how come you didn't buy one for me'' and you said: ''let's see if I drop by''...I was literally under the impression that you were joking with me.
Until bam! You passed it to me today as a Christmas gift, I was so touched until I didn't know how to react. Thank you for making this year's Christmas so special, and I just want you to know that I am very grateful to you. Other than it is representing the commemoration for Dr Tun Mahathir, this reminded me that home (Malaysia) is still home. Giving me hopes and as an encouragement to go home in due course.
Thank you Alvin. I will always treasure you and I am glad to have known you. Thank you for being such an amazing friend. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2019 to you.
Notice the ladies in the red and black..
That was the DRIVER'S cue to shoot. You'll then see the DRIVER raise a gun over his right shoulder and shoot. That is why Jackie Kennedy then tried to get out of the car. She wasn't trying to pick up his brains, she was escaping!! #jfk#assassination#mindblown#illuminati
I seriously cannot recommend this enough.
You go through every possible emotion watching this. Truly an eye opener into what it was like going through such a traumatic situation from genuine accounts of the men who were actually there in the trenches.
Watching the camaraderie between them all, the laughter and partying around to the complete opposite of horror and blood.
Just incredible and immensely proud.
Forever in their debt ❤️❤️
We’re officially open!!!!!! @abbeytheatredublin @comefromawayuk #comefromawaydublin The audiences have been insanely brilliant!!!! I’ve met some wonderful people too over the past week. People flew in from #Gander#newyork#texas folks these stories are based on...when does that happen???
In the last photo featured are Dennis Jnr and his son Andrew, my character Hannah O’Rourke’s other son & Grandson. I’ll be meeting Hannah in London this February #mindblown#weallcomefromaway#dublin#humankindness
A picture can say everything and nothing at all. What you don’t see, hear, or smell is the sensory spell we were under in India. The constant beeping of horns, the drum of prayers booming over cities and villages from distant speakers, the smell of street sewers combined with street food, the avoidance of every man habitually spitting phlegm, the persistent begging, the giggles from children and adults who are endearingly amused by your skin colour, the vibrancy of every person, vehicle and building, infinite detail and effortless creativity behind every corner. A fascinating and full body experience like no other. I can’t wait to go back one day. #india#mindblown
At our 7th annual boys lunch the theme of the day was “giving”. We talked about the concept that our rewards in life are a reflection of the value we offer to others.
It’s so easy to get caught up in our own thoughts, our own self-interest where we are thinking about what we want to have, what we are seeking to get, what we want to achieve more of.
But the truth is when our own self interest comes at the expense of caring about others, and we get so caught up in our own needs that we disregard the needs of others, it will often lead down a path of dissatisfaction, or at best short-term gain.
When we seek to help others achieve their needs whilst at the same time knowing what we are working towards, it becomes a beautiful dance of fair-exchange. The more we help others, the more help we receive in return.
A great question to ask ourself at any point in time is to check in and see “how am I adding value to others?”, “how am I helping others to achieve their needs?” .
I’ve never met anyone in a business or relationship who achieved long term success by only thinking about them self. .
The ultimate key to long-term success in any arena is by adding value to the wellbeing of others and helping them achieve their needs.
Today I acknowledge my friends who have contributed to my success and helped me become the man I am today.
