Having 4 kids isn't easy. Every child is SO different. My second born, Fletcher needs extra attention. If he doesn't get "alone time" with me he can get really nutty. He can get super hyper, nutty, doesn't listen, etc. It also has a lot to do with food. He can't have a lot of sugar or carbs or he also spirals. Sometimes when he's crazy, to calm him down and bring him back to "normal", all I have to do is lay with him alone in his room for a few minutes. Which can be easier said than done with more than one child involved. Another thing that has been great for us is doing puzzles together. Not kid ones. Adult 1000 piece puzzles. He's surprisingly good at them and it really helps him focus. We just finished this one (yes it's a beer puzzle, don't judge). He's been waking up with me early just do have the alone time with me to tackle it. I honestly LOVE doing it with him. Finding the time is hard, but when we do, it's special and SO worth every minute.
Serious question. Has anyone EVER had luck with making pancakes with coconut flour? Seriously? It crumbles, it's stupid. Right? I love the idea of it, but I can't for the life of me get them to turn out. This batch was a total flop. I ended up adding more liquid (almond milk) and a few other gluten free flours I had kicking around to make it work. On a plus side I ended up with a ton of pancakes. So, is there a secret? Is the secret just don't do it?
When it is raining outside, the only breakfast to have is a warm bowl of porridge. Don't have any fresh fruit right now but frozen fruit works just the same. Fruit can be eaten; fresh, frozen or tinned and still count as one of your five a day 💁

1. Pom-Poms? Don’t see why not.
2. Bejeweled headphones w/bunny ears? Who wouldn’t?
3. Two life-saving Epis at all times? Is that even still a question? Just #StyleYourEpi 📷: @janeespiritu
Are you drooling looking at this picture of my banana bread too?! 🤤 I added chocolate-chips this time and it. was. Amazing! Make sure you check out this dairy, egg & nut-free banana bread recipe up on my blog (link in profile)!!✨
Oh Teddy! After managing to split his lip open I was so pleased to be able to find a dairy free sarnie for the boys at A&E. A 5 hour visit needs food and I now know @ginstersofcornwall don’t just sell pasties! It wasn’t pretty but thanks to our wonderful NHS he’s all patched up and thinks he looks like a bunny. Apparently chicken and stuffing sarnies are hard to eat with a dressing on your top lip but beggars can’t be choosers......... #dailymailsadface#milkallergy#nhs
Meet Oakley, 9: An expert in all things slime; loves a good boa especially when it’s pink, and is always the life of the party. And this is how she styles her Epi. #StyleYourEpi#WeBelay 📷: @janeespiritu
We all know making homemade popcorn at home is the best option. But, we all need convenience at times too. That’s why I 💓 this product!
Check out this @theskinnypop #dairyfree popcorn! I love this because when my daughter gets older, I can picture her taking this to her future sleepovers with friends. All she will have to do is heat it up in the microwave just like “regular” popcorn 🍿😍🙌🏻
((Also, if you’re a nursing mama who just found out you had to cut dairy out because of your baby’s dairy allergy/intolerance.. YOU NEED THIS.))
