Due to moving out to Cali @rissa_garcia19 and I felt it was time to turn in Big Bertha. We still wanted something we could take off road and was affordable.
That's when we found Bella, we are extremely excited to go on new adventures here 🛶🏕🏔
My all time favorite moment is welcoming this little boy into the world seven years ago. It seems like an eternity ago now. One of the team of ladies that was in the delivery room with me took this picture while we were talking with Barry in route to us. #militarylife#birthdayboy
Having a bad day can sometimes be like getting a flat tire.
You can prepare all you want- but when it blows on the freeway during rush hour you gotta pull over to the side and deal with it.
Instead of waiting for AAA to rescue you change that tire and get back on the road. 👌🏼
Everywhere can be an adventure.
We didn’t get to hike in Flagstaff, but the boys found plenty of things to see in the parking lot. There were so many trees and pine cones to discover. And don’t forget the rocks.
We have gotten to see a lot of beautiful landscape and have explored a little. Looking forward to tomorrow with no driving and a fun adventure.
My son said he was nature cat! Do you kids have big imaginations?
Long post alert 🚨
Why did I become a coach? .
I decided I wanted to be a teacher when I was in 3rd grade. I got my dream job as a second grade teacher in a great county
Life is funny though and sometimes your plans and God’s plans are different. I fell in love with a guy in the military and the military took him to Hawaii. Most people would jump at the opportunity to move to Hawaii. I on the other hand was terrified and heartbroken. I wanted to be with my husband but I didn’t want to move away from my family, friends, and career.
My anxiety was spiraling out of control and I was so frustrated and lost on what to do. I was in Barnes and noble looking at devotionals when I found one that caught my eye. The chapter I read was all about how God has given us all different gifts, and that he’ll never let those gifts go to waste if you trust in his plan. I was feeling really inspired and started thinking about my passions and traits I possess. Then I got on Instagram and this girl id been following for awhile posted about a job opportunity as a coach on her team. I thought it’d be pretty cool, but I just shrugged it off and kept scrolling. Over the next few days @happyhealthyhumble Instagram kept flooding my feed. I prayed and felt like this is what I was supposed to do in this new season of my life.
I’ve always had a passion for fitness and nutrition. One day it hit me- all the things I love about teaching- getting to know people, helping people, teaching new ideas, sharing ideas between colleagues- those are all elements of coaching.
I want to help people feel amazing and strong and I want to teach them to love and care for their bodies. I may be teaching adults now, but I feel I’m still using my gifts and fulfilling my passion
I know trying new things is scary- but trust me and just say yes!
I recently had the pleasure of photographing some of the ladies behind the men of VAQ-132. These women got me through my first (and second) deployment and I truly appreciate each and every one of them. Thank you for allowing me to capture these photos for you!
At 2:10 am the whole hanger erupted in cheers while their plane touched down. Audrey said it best while we were in route to get him in our arms, “If this is a dream, I don’t even care. I’m just so happy this dream happened to me.”
We’re exhausted and elated. And wildly thankful for the way Jesus carried us in this season. The tears welled up and couldn’t help but spill over with gratitude. He is HOME. And goodness, home is a beautiful place to be.
