A case of #rogerfederer :
He started the year strong by winning his 6th #australianopen but later failed to defend his #miamiopen and #indianwells titles.
He skipped entirely the clay season and the #toronto#rogerscup .
Meanwhile Nadal has been racking up titles, with three M1000,11th Roland Garros and the Barcelona 500 and being the man to beat in the #1 rank.
When asked about being #1 again and tournaments,Roger said ‘'I chose to skip Toronto for the health of my body. I don’t want to be hurt, there is too much to play".It is important to stay healthy".
'‘I had a great start to the season and got to world No1 for what could be one last time. If there is the situation for it to happen, I would chase it again". But he added that he no longer will aim for the year-end #1 , is now more relaxed about his schedule and prioritises family life .
Is he waiting to win another #grandslam or M1000 and retire in glory?
When he does,he will leave free way for the other veterans to benefit from it.
But I would say that not for so long either,as the young ones are claiming the upper rankings day by day.
Question: Is #fedal over⁉
Will we ever see another Rafa-Roger match before they retire⁉
