#pumpday 10 min Bicep Blast INSTRUCTIONS BELOW 👇🏻Try it out and let me know how it feels! 💪🏻🔥. CHOOSING YOUR WEIGHT -
Find a weight you can easily curl for 10, that taxes you at 12 & you feel like you're finished at 15-18. Those last 2-5 FORCED reps will be the money 💀. THE SITUATION - This is not an every biceps workout program. Keep in mind it's just for a quick pump as well as some possible gainz during a break in your day. I.e. lunch break or in between meetings.
THE EQUIPMENT - Choose a bicep curl machine that you can utilize both hands as well as individual hands and of course your dumbbells!. THE SETS & REPS - I usually choose 3 sets of 20 repetitions for biceps.
THE SEQUENCE - I start out with the • machine using both hands • moving immediately to alternate dumbbell curls • back to the machine using both hands • either strip some weight using one hand on the machine or just use a dumbbell • both hands on the machine again • then hanging dumbbell curls! .
EXPECTATIONS & INSTRUCTIONS - I do one set all the way through, taking about a two minute break then completing the next set, repeat for the third.
if the weight is too heavy for the second set and impossible for the third, I would recommend dropping a couple of pounds.
if you are able to utilize the same weight all the way through all three sets then the next time you perform this, I would recommend increasing your weight.
Do not be discouraged if you're not able to finish with either the same weight, even if you have to drop weight or if you just get so pumped you cannot complete the sets. Focus is often wasted on the minute details...when the big picture stuff is being overlooked. Sweet potatoes or white potatoes? Brown rice or white rice? These things aren't the things that are truly making any difference in your physique at all. People get fed the wrong messages about which details to worry about, and it's no wonder it seems so overwhelming to make a change. 😥 It doesn't need to be Paleo, or carb cycling or fasting to make massive changes. You can just eat decent whole foods 80% of the time and watch the transformation happen....without feeding into your body dysmorphia with overtly difficult diets. ☺️ Learn the basics. -

Before surgery in May, I was doing CrossFit based WODs and my conditioning was the best I had been able to get to since I played water polo at OCC 🍊🌊
Honestly, I have been skipping any extra conditioning work I would do on my own during this last training cycle and just followed my program. 🤷🏼♀️
Olympic weightlifting doesn’t really have box jumps, burpees, running or anything over 5 reps! 😂

Biceps will always and forever be my least favorite muscle group to train because my forearms get so dang pumped after the first few sets & I can barely continue on with the rest of the workout... Anyone else?? 😅😂 -
