Deluxe high tea ($79 - $85 depending on your choice of drink)
I have been hanging out to go to @lellopastabar for a while now and last night was cause for the perfect occasion.. so - apart from the fact that I enjoyed the food, what I loved was that the waiters left us alone. And I don’t mean they didn’t pay us attention, but after making sure we were okay and happy with our orders, they actually let us BE and we enjoyed our conversation and meals without constant interruption. THANK YOU
Back to the food - we chose the ‘Diavola’ #pizza - a perfectly enjoyable option.. fantastic #base and #fresh , flavoursome #ingredients .
The calamari was a surprise. The boys expected traditional rings, however I appreciated the #serving as is, nothing fancy, perfectly cooked, good bite and great balance for the overall dish.
Now, for the pasta, I’m a sucker for #homemade#gnocchi any day of the week, although nothing beats my Nonnina’s version of the dish... while I enjoyed the pasta itself I felt the lamb was a heavy, albeit tasty, accompaniment. I very much plan to head back and ask if I can try the gnocchi with the #rabbit option instead.. still, lamb lovers will thoroughly enjoy.. I finished my night off with the #tartufo dessert - and it’s exactly what you expect - #rich#dark#creamy , and the #crumble pulled the dish together..
All in all, a great option for a Saturday night out.. thanks guys 👌🏼
Had a chance to taste their brand new winter menu; 9+ Marbled Wagyu Grass-fed Beef and Peek-ing Duck with soba Noodles. I personally like the fresh soba noodles with the sweet and sour duck, I would eat this in summer time too. The wagyu is also nice for a more heartier meal.
I always do coffee and brunch meets at the beautiful @feastofmerit when I can.
Not only does this venue have beautiful rustic decor and a lovely Middle Eastern influenced menu (sustainable meats and vegetarian friendly!), they are an initiative of @ygap (Y-Generation Against Poverty), a charity that supports youth education and leadership projects in Malawi, Ghana, Rwanda, Bangladesh, Cambodia and Australia. They also have a dinner menu and a cool rooftop for drinks! See you there at our next coffee catch up?

Mango parfait with dehydrated raspberries, poached persimmons and crumbed pastry 😍🙌 We were so full but still made space for this scrumptious dessert! Will definitely be returning to @longrainrestaurant in the near future! 😄 @shashdas
Beautiful deftly prepared omakase and black sesame panna cotta at @kisume_au 🍣🍮 Food was excellent, but unfortunately, the service was mediocre. We had three waiters (yes, three!) throughout the service and none were attentive, which was such a pity.

Seared salmon with Broccolini and poached eggs with hollandaise sauce on toast // perfectly seared and no wonder it’s a special on weekends!

I cannoli wait to tell you about the new brunch menu @crinitis 👌It’s taken a pizza of my heart 🍕 From smashed avocado pizza, Açai Bowls, smoked salmon breakfast bagels, cheesy 1-meter long mozzarella sticks and superfood salads there’s a whole heap of great things to try 🥑 My bonus dessert stomach even managed to fit in one of these chocolate cannolis and a handful of donut fries with melted Nutella (Seriously! Donuts as fries! So good)🍫🍟🍩
