Me siguen? 😍 #NatInSydney •
Today I said goodbye to Melbourne, an amazing city that at the beginning I wasn’t sure I wanted to live there.
But woow it was much more than I expected.
I know that most of the times that happened; we are afraid of give it the chance because we are afraid it doesn’t fill our expectations, but do it. Trust me, most of the times they exceed or expectations much more than we expected.
Now is the time for Sydney, I already lived here for 6 months, but I know this time will be different in many other ways.
Are you with me? 😏😊 #NatInSydney
Last night I had my first modern molecular gastronomy experience. Their Looking Glass Virtual Reality Experience at Taste of Melbourne 2016 first caught my attention, I was fairly impressed by the restaurant’s willingness to undertake such an innovative concept. Never imagined I’d be celebrating my birthday here 2 years later 🎂🙏🏼.
We had ‘AN INDICATION’ ($140) which came with 7 courses of taste bud exploding experience. Each course has its unique mix of many different ingredients, stellar presentation and elegant platings ✨
Some of the highlights were the DARWINIAN EGG, you can eat the flakey egg shell too. It has a wonderfully smooth, creamy texture and a strong after taste😋 SMOKED EEL BUTTER got a great smoky flavor, and it got better when paired with a artichoke sourdough and sour corn honey 🍞🍯. THE AGED DUCK 🐤 was phenomenal, it had a medium firm texture, inside was juicy and tender. We finished off with the uncommon OLIVE OIL AND MANDARIN PEEL ICE CREAM 🍦 I did not know Ice cream can have a eclectic palate, sometimes it tasted like a mouthful of freshly cut grass in a good way.
The whole experience lasted for 3 hours and half, not fully happy about the service here, def has room for improvement. Overall I have thoroughly enjoyed my evening, It’s truly a memorable and unique culinary journey, unlike anything I have ever eaten before 🍴🌟.
I rated 9/10 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

‘Blame it on the rain that was falling, falling
Blame it on the stars that didn't shine that night’ ~ Milli Vanilli
Milli Vanilli were a high selling very popular German R&B band from Munich. In the late 80s, I had their stuff on vinyl and my brothers & I would grab hair brushes and mime their songs whilst busting a move around the ‘good’ room where the record player was.
Turns out we weren’t the only ones miming. None of the band actually sang the vocals on their releases.... Zip. Zero. Zilch!
Have you ever faked anything? How did it make you feel? Why did you fake it? To make the other person feel better? Have you bought a fake purse? Or got your hair coloured? Is anything we do really real?
