STAR WOGS 😂😭.
So on Friday night... my dad and I were invited to go down and watch my good friend and client @joesalanitri , his brother @carlosalanitri and @andrewmanfresooshi part of the @sooshimango crew in the new tour show “STAR WOGS”.
I’d say go watch the show but it’s actually SOLD OUT!.
Apparently to keep everyone happy they’ll be doing a few extra shows in Melbourne at the end of their tour in November... and yes I’m going again!

This isn’t something I thought I’d have the guts to post but I know I always take some positivity out of other people’s journeys so here goes!...4 weeks ago I was told I had Susac’s syndrome, a rare auto immune disease that affects all my senses (sight and hearing in particular!). I was miserable, stressed and anxious then, suddenly, I thought FUCK IT! I can’t be bothered with even caring about what I look like! My whole mentality changed... I wanted to eat and workout to keep my body healthy for as long as I possibly could as I didn’t want this condition to define who I was. I haven’t stood on the scales but I’ve most certainly lost a few inches and toned up (particularly around my lower body!). And how? MINDSET. I WANT to be healthy, I WANT to respect my body by giving it good nutrients and exercising because I LOVE it not because I have to 💜 And it’s also important to have fun!!! Have the glass of wine if you want it 🍷 have that little chocolate bar! Just don’t sit and wallow about it! Embrace it! Get moving, use your body to do everything you possibly can! Now there’s nothing wrong with the first picture (although it’s probably the biggest I’d been in about 3 years!) but I can tell you now that at the time of the first picture on the left I was desperate to lose weight and it was so so silly!!! Start being grateful for your body, it’s the only one you have from start to finish. We should all be grateful every single day that we can see, touch, feel, talk, walk and run etc... 💜🌟 there are so many that can’t that wish they could. I’ve eliminated the pressure of ‘looking pristine and tiny’ from my life and I urge you to do the same 🌟 it’ll come! Whilst I can just about hear and still see I’m going to make the most out of every single day 💖🌸 body improvements come from deep deep within and please stop punishing yourselves 🙏🏼❣️ Today, on the right, there’s so much less stress and so much more enjoyment! And my body feels back to its usual self 🙌🏼🌟

Sneaky little phone video while l finished off my last set of 12x 3 40kg deadlifts ... also done same weight 3x12 40kg squats ... and as you can see at the end l was stuffed ! This proves the theory if you aren’t consistent with your training your body definitely lets you know ! 🏆 VICTORY! I was up against a more experienced fighter and won by decision. Very happy with my performance and a lot to learn from this fight to keep growing as a martial artist.

But seriously, in all honesty friends, whether or not you choose to change your lifestyle, stay committed, persistent through the comments, & believe that change takes time…all comes down to this question.
How bad do you want it?
No one said transforming your mental & physical health would be easy. In fact, I’m here to tell you it’s REALLY FREAKIN HARD. But for me, there came a point where I literally had had enough. I was at my breaking point. I made the change and stuck to it through all the bullshit.
Nothing worth having comes easy. Nothing that comes easy is worth having. There’s no skinny tea, magic pill, or waist trainer that will get you what you want.
So, are you ready for the secret? It’s already inside of you – just push START.
Following my surgery, my aim is to prioritise my health for a bit to ensure I’m well and truly I’m the mend. This means micronutrient dense meals (made easy by @hellofreshau) and prioritising my gut health - ESPECIALLY after anesthetic, so I splurged and I’ve been having my @remedydrinks daily (thanks to Coles having them on sale ✌🏻)
Zuchinni, feta cheese, cheddar cheese, caramelised onion, pesto and rocket leaves 🤤 even the meat loving @jaicooper.97 ate this with minimal fuss and minimal ham 😂

Without going into depth, some things are just starting to place themselves in the right positions for the right reasons. .

Don’t forget to acknowledge how far you have come. 4 weeks before this photo, I was laying in a hospital bed and had hit the lowest point of my health even though I had done everything right as advised by doctors and surgeons. Some things you have absolutely no control over and you can choose to make it a negative experience or you can choose to make it just a bump in a road, I refuse to let my condition get the better of me and let it rule my life and affect who I am as a person. I am still making up for lost time and trying to find a way to be a better version of myself. I will not give up. 💪🏼
