🤨 The floodgates are now open. Went DEEP with @yurielkaim on his podcast into the personal blocks that yank us back, and draws us to the other side so our journey on our true path can continue. What do you think? LMK in the comments below! 👇🏻⚡️
Do you ever have such a connection with a patient and feel you could sit and talk to them for hours? 🕙🕟
Well last night that was me! One of my patients read my palms ☯️and said I was stressed and worried😰 (no surprises there!). Applying for medicine is probably on of the most competitive and difficult processes out there. They then told me that I need to realign my focus on what I really want, even if there are difficult things going on in my life. I am going to have a big change soon but it won't come without putting myself first. To those reading it may sound a little generic but it was JUST what I needed to hear at this point in my life😌. They then told me to in order to change my mind set, every day when I wake up I need to say out loud "I am happy, I am beautiful, I will succeed, I am capable" - basically big myself up every morning, and within 100 days I will be completely different😇. I would love to give this a go as I'm sure plenty of us do not give ourselves enough credit. I know I am too hard on myself as I want to be the best I can be but sometimes life gets in the way, and its okay. Its okay to take a few extra years to get where you want to be, there is no set timeline for anything. The BEST thing my patient said they do is carry a hand fan everywhere with them, and anytime they hear/feel something negative, they fan it away, as if to fan away all the negative energy👊. I absolutely LOVE this idea, it is so extra 💁🏽but I can imagine after continously doing it, it will have an effect on your mindset, as well as praising yourself every morning. So to make sure I don't have a breakdown in my 20s🙈😂, I am going to try to follow some of these ideas. Oh and learn to meditate🙏. I gave up on it as I found it too hard but maybe I need to prioritise it more and give myself a chance to learn. Either that or I will end up retreating in a monastery for 3 months haha😂😂. #needed
Please enjoy my unrelated pictures of my dinner, chicken & leek bake. We are having a little party at work tonight as one of my colleagues is leaving so I am bringing chocolate fudge cake and I don't even feel bad about it 🙌😍

If I entered a weightlifting competition, I’m pretty sure I’d end up somewhere around 999th place.😆 X
But you know what? I’m okay with that! When it comes to exercise and maintaining your health, there is no need to constantly compare yourself to others. The only person you’re competing with is yourself. And with at least 30 minutes of exercise 5 days out of the week, this is a competition we can all win. 👍🏼
What’s your favorite activity for exercise?
A rainy Saturday means a slow moving morning and plenty of time to focus on the important things... food, obviously. ☔️🙏🏻😂
The tip I share most often, hands down, is if you want to get healthier/lost weight/have better skin/whatever then you should focus on filling half your plate with vegetables at EVERY meal. Breakfast included. 🌅🥦
Keep it simple. I did two fried eggs over a bed of of wilted spinach and baby portabella mushrooms with some bacon crumbles. Viola vegetables for breakfast! 🍃🍄🍳
☀️ I am really excited to try my @teamiblends teas! 🍵 I am currently on my Emergency Medicine clerkship, and my schedule is all over the map! 🗺 And when I don’t have a regular eating schedule, I get hangry and then to junk food 🍟. I’m hoping @teamiblends can help get my eating (and maybe even sleep 😴) back on track! 🍵 Use my discount code BLOGGERBRIANA for 15% off 😍
According to ayurveda, “dosha dhatu mala mulam hi shariram” It means doshas are the biological forces which work through the medium of dhatus and malas. Dhatus and malas are the structural units and the doshas are the energy forms. Hence the doshas are called as asrayees and dhatus called as asrayaas. “Sharira Dharanat Dhatvah” that is those which nourish and support the body are known as dhatu.
According to Ayurveda, there are seven basic types of dhatus in a human body. These seven basic dhatus are composed of five mahabhutas. These dhatus remain inside the human body in a proper equilibrium so that the body can function properly. It is said that any kind of disturbance or imbalance in their equilibrium causes ailments and diseases.
The seven dhatus are as follows:

Bears the body, make it to stand upright as does the skeletal system for us.
Responsible for love and nourishment as its structure is also smooth and soft. As it fills the gap in bones, it can be said- marrow!
After nourishment of the body, rest will go for the coming generation. Important for reproductive capacities of a person, or can be said a power nourishing the reproductive strengths of a person. These seven together hold up the body and provide strength for life.
Today was my first iron infusion. I’ll do round two in a week. I’m hopeful getting my ferritin up where it should be reduces some Big symptoms. Time will tell but I’m glad to be making some small progress on my health journey. Ehlers Danlos blesses you with juggling a long list of symptoms and the need to see a lot of different doctors. It can feel never ending and gets overwhelming! I’m trying to focus on one step at a time while balancing family and business. And today that means going home to rest while my body works hard. #ehlersdanlos#chronicillness#health#edswarrior#zebra
☯️ A Himalayan Hideaway🌴
This stuff is great for improving air quality, and the negatively charged ions are wonderful for health and improving a person's mood. There's more, it also reduces inflammation and mucus in the lungs and improves respiratory conditions like asthma, bronchitis, and allergies 😉
There's nothing like @happiefood, but your mind, body, and soul need a little more!! Himalayan Salt can be very handy as you detox. I sat in here for less than an hour and it helped balance me out and get rid of the migraine that's been lurking around for two days lol smh
Inhaling Himalayan Salt particles has a number of benefits and I'm so happy that there is finally a Salt cave near me. Check around, and if your lucky enough to have one close; make sure you check them out 😚
Stay blessed and stay woke my beautiful Kings and Queens,
💞 Happie Ree

Never lose sight of the end goal, no matter how hard this gets. You’ll lose count of the many hours studied, the numbers nights on call, and the many holidays missed. But remember, today’s sacrifice creates an opportunity for tomorrow’s success. Your future patients are counting on you. If that made you smile, then you, my friend are made for this.
