manjar intuitivão de coco 🥥🥥🥥 tava com meio sachêzinho de ágar-ágar jogado no armário, resolvi testar uma receita e deu certo! a textura ficou bacana, não ficou molenga, bem parecida com o manjar tradicional. só achei que podia ficar um pouquinho mais doce, mas aí vai do seu paladar. a receita: 750ml de leite de coco (veja como fazer aqui: #leitedovaral ), 1cs cheia de polvilho doce, meio sachê de ágar-ágar (devia ter umas 2Cc), umas 3cs de açúcar demerara. bate tudo no liqui, passa pra uma panela em fogo baixo pra médio até ferver. quando começar, mistura por uns 4 min. desliga o forno, deixa na geladeira por umas 4h (ou se for guloso como eu, no congelador por uns 20 min e o restante na geladeira). como não ficou tão doce, comi com geleia de morango 🥰🍓 #manjardovaral

Thai Massaman curry. This old favourite has been on the menu pretty well since we started and is just as popular as it’s ever been. Creamily fragrant, gently spiced and bursting with colourful vegetables, it’s a winner. And it’s on the menu this evening 🌶😊👍

Absolutely GORGEOUS food at @rotichai last night, I had the jackfruit special which was amazing with the dal and a roti. I forgot to take a picture of my starter, the chaat, which was also amazing. Highly recommend! Swipe right for the vegan menu.
Meatloaf was one of my favorite meals growing up so when I stopped eating meat I definitely had to create a recipe for a vegan meatloaf. My husband & I made this one together inspired by both our moms meatloaf 😍 with the ketchup sauce topping & garlic & onion mashed potatoes on the side, this home style favorite is complete 💕 so easy to make & 100% plant based! “Meatloaf” with Ketchup Sauce & Mashed Potatoes
Serves 4 .
½ medium onion, diced
1 green pepper, diced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 can black beans, drained & rinsed
1 can chickpeas, drained & rinsed
1 cup of cooked rice
½ cup diced mushrooms
1 cup Italian bread crumbs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder .
1 tbsp ground flax seed
2 ½ tbsp water .
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Cook rice to package instructions & set aside. Mix the ingredients for your flax egg & set aside for 5 minutes. Add the beans to a blender & bend until chunky but combined. You should still see a few whole beans. Add onions, mushrooms, & green peppers to a small frying pan & sauté. When Brown, add the sautéed veggies, beans, bread crumbs, rice & spices to a bowl & mix with your hands. Add the flax egg & mix. The flax egg should be gooey. Shape the mixture into a loaf shape & place in a parchment paper lined loaf pan. Bake in the oven for 1 hour. Add ketchup sauce & return to the oven for 10 more minutes. Remove from oven & serve! .
½ cup ketchup
1 tbsp coconut sugar
1 tsp dijon mustard
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
4-5 large potatoes
½ cup almond milk
3 tbsp vegan butter
2 tbsp salt
1 tbsp pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder .
In a large saucepan, boil potatoes for 15 minutes or until they’re easily poked through with a fork. Strain & add to a large mixing bowl. Add all other ingredients & whip with a hand mixer until smooth.
