When you are pretty much bullied into making a low fat vegetarian moussaka with mixed lentils, onion, carrot, garlic and aubergine and a healthy topping of Natural Greek Yoghurt with egg and Parmesan - seriously #delicious#vegetarianrecipes#tasty#meatfree#tasty
Our friends at need some help finalising their menu! Head over and follow to say yay or nay on their photos, they’re thinking about adding summer rolls like this from - we say YES! 100 times YES 🌱
Many Brits believe the food system as we know it will have changed drastically by 2030, with some even stating they will no longer use a supermarket. The change will be driven by three key factors; heightened environmental awareness, a stricter ethical code, and more concern for our health.

Jumper weather at last but still on the salads! Albeit in bed watching Killing Eve as knackered from catering the loveliest christening earlier. Carbed up with some hot garlicky sourdough croutons, poached salmon, leaves, purple kale, hemp seeds, smashed peas and a mustard tarragon dressing. And the prettiest flowers left over from earlier 😍.
Erg lekker!
A few more delicious pics from yesterday’s @vegansolfoodanddrinkexpo in MKE- @stemartaen combo plate (vegan bbq/buffalo wingz, collard greens and mac) @eastsideovens donuts (soooooo good 😳🤤) and @sacredserve vegan chocolate gelato!!! Might’ve gained a few pounds from all of this deliciousness 😆!!
I see you. Your suffering. Pain. Betrayal. Confusion. Sadness. I’m sorry. We are trying.
Two weeks ago I went to a Northamptonshire slaughterhouse to bare witness to the millions of chickens that are murdered every day. This was my first vigil and I knew it was going to be hard but I would never have been able to prepare myself to the horror that these innocent babies endured and are still enduring covered in faeces, burns, legs crippling, injected with chemicals and open wounds. From the time we got there until we left 7 trucks filled to the brim with innocent babies had been murdered. I left feeling useless, deflated, angry and heartbroken beyond measure. But I knew I was there for a purpose to show them compassion and to recognise them as the individuals they were. If I was the victim I wouldn’t want society to make me a secret I would want at least one person to see me and to show me compassion before I was murdered. I would want someone to fight for me, share my story to the world and uncover the injustice! We spoke to an ex-slaughterhouse worker and he said he lasted 3 days until they said he had to kill a living chicken and he couldn’t do it. Would you be able to look an animal in the eyes before you murdered it? Have you paid someone else to slit the throat of an innocent being for a meal? Are you needlessly contributing to this suffering and never ending holocaust? If you answered yes then please reconsider your diet, align your morals with your actions live a life of compassion and love 🙏🏽💚🌿 If we killed humans at the rate that we kill animals, the human race would be extinct in 17 days!!! 😱 GOVEGAN. You will either look back on this part of history with guilt or pride, knowing your actions are either contributing or opposing this holocaust. Choose wisely 🙏🏽🌿💚✨
Cheddar, spinach and onion tart from @dianahenryfood How to eat a peach. Is there any better combo than cheese and onion? I think not! 😊 This is a delicious oozy tart with traditional British/Irish flavours. The spinach and onion are all lurking in the bottom but they are there! Chef's notes - the pastry was uber crumbly but I persevered and it paid off, good flavour. It also was a little too brown when baked blind and again with the filling but probably due to my crazy oven!
Congratulations to @seedcafempls on their soft opening weekend! 🌱 We love the new space and are happy to welcome a new #plantbased eatery to the Twin Cities. 🙏🏽 Next weekend @trioplantbased celebrates its grand opening and we can’t wait! 🎉
