One of my favourite photos (yes, ok, selfie) from the last weeks.
A friend of mine told me how well this picture described me: "Your hair got so damn long lately, still love wearing funky hats like an old hippy hahah but somehow your grown-up side shows up a bit too you know....with your make-up and earings... Hmm haven't seen you wearing those in the last 2 years. Girl you found yourself..."
Well thank you for the nice words and I am trying to do my best ;) it's been 3 yrs I have decided to give up on my professional carrier and start this gypsy/hippy/traveler life. Some people (ok, mostly my parents) still did not give up on me and keep asking when I wanna start working in the business again or moving home❤. Guess I am going to be a solo traveler in my heart forever but lately my life slowed down in Belgium. Why? I have no clue...maybe I got lazy and tired of planning and constant moving, maybe I am getting old and I do need some daily routine and consistency, maybe maybe maybe... For sure I keep dreaming about further destinations and maybe one day I will get up in the morning with an urgent need to pack my bagpack and leaving my nice earings behind again but for now I feel ok with my settled (for me setteled ;) ) life. I love doing what I am doing and being surrounded with the cutest little monkeys but don't think I lost my travelbug ;) I have visited 12 countries in 2017, did camping in 2C and snow, hiked in 35C and got sunburned on the top of my head, broke my foot biking around Amsterdam and survived those huge winter storms in Maine and Massachusetts. I did spend more time in the North than other normal people would do ;) so for 2018 my resolutions are spending more time under the sun (not to got sunburned on the top of my head again lo) do more shorter or weekend trips to places and countries I haven't been yet, try to be physically more active again without breaking any of my bones ;) Hoping for keeping all of my beloved ones in my life and looking forward get to know new friends:)
Happy New Year from Hungary where we had a lovely but retired kind of New Years Eve celebration with puppy sitting ;) (she survived, we survived) I am so glad to welcome my beloved friend @aimeedennler from Mass. USA 👸 who likes all the weird food and drinks that we are making her to taste ;) Wishing all the best to you friends for 2018! Don't just chase your dreams but make them happen, take all the chances life brings you, be present and enjoy every single moment. Live the life that is the best for you and don't worry if some people just don't understand you or your decisions.
Love you all.
